Like saying we were in for Obsorn way before it was anywhere else? Richard Cadette's is as ITK as it gets from his past record.
Alan Nixon put it on Twitter...

The inner circle doesn’t know about our manager getting a 3 year deal?

He also didn’t know about the record transfer deal for Robinson?

Nixon put it on Twitter substantially after RC. In fact, RC was the first to mention the potential move.

He's been right plenty of times enough to give him some latitude on the odd one that doesn't reach him or goes awry.

"chimes with you" ffs, what you on man, down there in trendy West London
:D Brilliant! Well said mate! I have to work with these trendy London corporate-speak types. They just repeat whatever trendy phrases are going around and don't even stop to consider for a moment that they are speaking a version of English that is nonsensical and sounds rather silly. Oh and the way they end every sentence on a rising tone, so it sounds like they are asking a question! I love to interrupt them when they do this and ask...

"sorry, was that a question?"

It doesn't stop them though. They can't help it.

"an I was like, an he was like, an she was like, an they were like....." Like what FFS? If you are going to start a simile then finish the damn thing, or use a metaphor instead!🥵

"are you (we) on point with that?"
"I'm just calling this out"
had a "with all due respect" the other day. He nearly got put on his arse.

Fucking wankers

"Let's take a rain-check on it" meaning "let's look into it"
"Run it up the flagpole and see who salutes it" meaning - "let's share the idea with others and see what they think"
"I have a little kite I'd like to fly with you" meaning "I have an idea to put to you"
"Let's take that offline" - meaning, "shut the fuck up about that will you, we can discuss it some other time, not now!" :D

Up talking is so last year. Us hipsters preface every reply now with " so"

So " park that" " populate that graph ", " i'll take a skinny laté" bisous " mwa mwa"

I'm on conference calls a lot and this is said all the time.

I take it as "oh shit i don't know the answer you got me there. Please stop making me look like i don't know my job"

And while I'm on one. "Deep dive". Shut the fk up.

(I feel a bit better now)

We just need to move on from Maupay and "think outside the box"

I think he used to be in the groovy gang with Rodney👌

Just because he didn't say on here doesn't mean he doesn't know about it.

And more to the point, just because he’s not posting about every single thing that happens within the club it doesn’t mean that the info he has put out is wrong. Something like Jagielka’s signing went a little under the radar likely because of the speed of the deal (referenced by both Wilder and Jagielka). I suspect the information is easier to get if there are multiple people involved over say a week than a small number of people over a couple of days.

As for NicksEm posting the info first, ridiculous suggestion.

Whilst CW waits for Maupay's agent to see sense could he just be going for the "low hanging fruit" in respect of Robinson.....or is that just "blue sky thinking"?

He mentioned Osborn way before Nixon.

He may not have known about Robinson. He doesn't necessarily get told each and every target. So what you're saying here really is anyone ITK should be all, or nothing? I'd hazard a guess that Wilder could post on here with info and the next day, it be old news.

Totally agree, also I’ve already explained that ITK info should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Bettis himself could say he’s 90% certain we’re going to agree a deal with x,y and z.

Then when all 3 deals break down at the last minute.
People on here would be accusing Bettis of not being good enough to be ITK, not realising it’s him actually doing the deals.
Unless an ITK is 100% accurate, all the time (which is impossible) then they can be on a hiding to nothing receiving abuse.

Given the career boost CWAK have given to strikers like Sharp, Clarke and McGoldrick, I'd have thought a young, ambitious forward would be champing at the bit to work with them and really put themselves on the world stage. Real shame if their agent puts the kibosh on that.

Robinson won't affect the Maupay chase. I think Callum is instead of/preferred to Watkins.
If we don't get Neal I can't think of many good alternatives to be honest.

Just to be clear, the position has not changed. There has been no contact from SUFC for Maupay. No bid. No fee agreed etc. etc. etc.

The agent is obviously angling to get a deal done. But it would appear that he wants to negotiate a additional fee from whatever buying club that will agree to pony-up. It is evident that any discussions so far have been between SUFC and the agent - as RC suggested.

What would be the point in us spending ages haggling with Maupay's agent (which is tapping up, if we haven't got permission from Brentford) if we don't even know whether or not Brentford would be happy to sell him? I'd suggest that you don't actually know what you're talking about.

Good article posted on here last week. Mostly the bit about multiple representation, and how the agents can act on behalf of the club and the player.

I'm aware of that but it doesn't do anything to support the claim that there's been no discussions with Brentford. There has to have been.

Surely all Brentford have to do is instruct the agent to secure the right deal and then come back to them when suitable terms are agreed with both parties. Then the official approach is made and accepted.

So Brentford must've been part of the discussions. Unless we're assuming that the agent has just made up a number that he feels Brentford will accept.

On one hand an £800k is the way the game is played these days. We have to decide if we want to complete these big moves - it won’t be any different for lots of other expensive players.

On the other it’s a slippery slope if you acquiesce to one demand to ‘sign one of my clients for huge wages / fees - or you don’t get access to my other players’ transfers are a murky world.

I don’t know where I’d fall. Really £800k in the scheme of the transfer doesn’t feel enough to potentially rob us of a different maker - on the other wilder should stand up to these parasites and he sounds like the type of agent who’s be touting him after a year anyway.
