Possibly true but in all fairness our ITK has come on and put a lot more upfront than yourself about what’s happening so my guess is right now you know as much as this ham sandwich I’m eating about what’s actually going on

If we don’t want to pay 800 grand on an agents fee then my guess is we would be happy to have him but he isn’t essential and we think we have other options so yes we can afford the merc( we wouldn’t think twice about paying a fee for Messi for example) but actually we think we can do as well with a cheaper model

He doesn’t seem to have a great number of players that he represents, but in a weird link to our last pre-season before the Prem one of the players he was an agent for was Olivier Bernard, who was a for us in a game I saw at Greenock Morton. Perhaps this is just all elaborate revenge 12 years on for us not giving him a contract...
