Loving the optimism PMKB but take a look at where we're at. We have the lowest wage bill in the division by a country mile, we have no first team regulars with PL experience (Jags is cover IMO) and we have a transfer budget that other clubs in the division would lose down the back of the sofa. That's before we look at our key targets like Maupay and realise no one else in the PL seems to be interested in them.

What we do have is CW/AK and the ethos and innovation they bring - and their ability to at times (though not always) make a silk purse from a pig's ear. The question to be answered is whether the team spirit will be enough (probably not) or whether CW/AK can manage to pull another miracle out of their hat. It's not impossible - but there has to be a limit to what even the best manager this side of Proxima Centurii can achieve.

We'll know within a few months whether there's another miracle in the offing to piss of the Deluded of S6 - or whether the hurdles this time are too high for even the Messiah.
