Neal Maupay

Can we snatch Konsa as well then?

They can afford to lose Konsa if you ask me. Or maybe they should stick him at right back. They won't need to rely on full backs for attacking threat too much. Should they play a back 3 though, he's perfect for RCB.

Don't think he's a suitable target for us now given the price.

Think is, they could sell Maupay for 15m...and probably buy a more than capable replacement for 2/3m

Exactly. Plenty of strikers would score 15+ for them and the attacking midfielders will chip in with more than enough goals.

Benrahma will hit the ground running this time, for a start. Then there's Watkins and Canos who'll keep improving.

Then in CM they're making signings in addition to existing good players like Mokotjo, Sawyers and Dasilva (if he's shoved down the pecking order, snap him up).

Thomas Frank looks like making them a much more rounded outfit. Is he good enough to get them up? Not sure.

But good luck to him, and them. He had good things to say about us and they all but got us promoted by beating Leeds.

Maupay transfer is dead. Moved onto McBurnie.

Is that the latest strategy?
We tell Brentford we’re moving on......in the hope that they panic and beg us to buy him for 15 million. The plot thickens.

We won't be signing both McBurnie and Maupay and we've moved onto McBurnie now.

Ant or Ed?
I honestly don't mind eather, I think Ed was a more thorough mechanic, but Ant, the better presenter, I do think you see less of what's being repaired now, and I still can't understand, why the new set of tyres on every car, isn't ever counted in the "spent" bit at the end though!??

Always preferred McBurnie anyway......that Maupay is just a poor man’s Billy Sharp.....and he’s French.
Only joking....it makes me laugh how after these transfer chases some try to save face.
Brentford fans rate Maupay and want a high price....but you can bet whoever offers 20 mill, then it will be “he’s not that good anyway” and “Hogan was better”.

Regards Maupay and McBurnie they are different types of strikers.
Think Maupay is similiar to Billy Sharp and more of a pure finisher whereas McBurnie has more to his game (support striker).
Would like both because they are both young and offer something different to each other
.....maybe we can wait until January20 and go back in for Maupay, if and when Brentford aren’t near the top 6.

JL, didn't your cousin's girlfriend inform us back in the day that we weren't signing Billy... but then.... well... we did?

It's not itk, just heard it from a budgie mate. Norwich have had a silly bid for puki. They've stuck their iron in Maupays fire as insurance.
Idfk if its true. Mate of a mate stuff.
I dont even care.
