1-0: Leicester hit an inswinging corner to the back post. Bunn goes for it, but doesn't get there, and Cresswell loses the header to Morrison.

2-0: Leicester hit us on the break, but Kilgallon buys us a little time by forcing Fryatt to dribble away from the goal. Monty gets back and tries to tackle him, but clumsily brings Fryatt down. Fryatt scores from the penalty.

Oh, and since it was brought up today, let's do a pass count for each of the goals (especially for Raul and Mall):

1-0: 1
2-0: 0
2-1: 0

;)

I'm sure we must have passed the ball at some stage to get it near Henri, or does your keyboard stop at 2??:D

Fairly described bergen, but being a fully fledged footballing intellectual i think you could probably have mentioned the bigger intricasies involved in both leicesters two goals, Bunn & monty in particular were just plain wank.

Yes we did well in that attack, and as the photo shows, we've got five players in the box shortly after Ward has crossed it. This is excellent, and it's no coincidence that we scored the game's only open play goal from this particular attack. However, as far as the passes count is concerned, the string of passes is broken when the Leicester player intervenes. Comically though he gives it to Camara who pokes it home.

So what do we learn from that? People who don't get my point may think that I'll insist the passes prior to the goal were unimportant. That's not my point at all.

For me, the most important thing though is the amount of players we put in the box, and their movement, coupled with some quick, fairly accurate passes that their defence failed to deal with.

I don't particularly like to criticise players individually, and generally focus more on the goals that we concede due to poor organisation, rather than individual mistakes. I only started highlighting the blame players in an attempt to make these threads slightly more interesting.

You're right though, they were disappointing mistakes.

There's something else to say about the build up to Leicester's 2nd which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere. The break came after Leicester got hold of the ball following a dreadful cross from Taylor when we were well placed. He couldn't even lift it over the 1st defender. He then ambled back and was of course out of position when the ball was played to Fryatt.
