Not saying it's not correct bladezz but as I have mentioned before how much is the credit down to wilder? Wilder says he wants Freeman and has a rough idea on a price but a lot of the actual negotiations will be done by someone else,Bettis? I am not in the know but it makes sense that a small team will negotiate including wilder,knill etc, I suspect a lot of the managers keep out the way until their presence is required,anyhow Freeman does sound like a good deal for us.

WILDER: BLADES CLOSING ON FREEMAN
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has just appeared on Good Morning Transfers and given this update on the club’s pursuit of QPR midfielder Luke Freeman.
“The club is pretty close to completing the deal for Luke,” the Blades boss said. “He is someone we’ve tracked over the last 12 months and it’s a deal we tried to do last year.
“We’re close to getting that over the line and hopefully Luke will become a Sheffield United player later today. We’re close to getting a few more in too, which will calm our supporters down a bit.”
