What a crazy world we live in - kids can watch their idols running around advertising such things AND therefore still be 'influenced' by such sponsorship but cant wear the same things as their idols as this could potentially 'influence' them more?????!!! Unbelievable really.

I like it a lot, and a lot more than I was expecting given the info that came out. Wasn’t happy with the idea of another plain back, but this is made a lot better by at least having the bottom of it with stripes.

Black shorts great. White socks would have made it better – not such a problem at the front, but given the majority plain red from the reverse it’s an overly red kit. Good that it’s not a different sleeve sponsor in addition to the front sponsor, makes it less busy than it would be otherwise with a potentially garish random other colour (sorry Door Deals!)

Launch video is excellent too. Marketing spot on – well done commercial team!

Never mind kids not having the sponsor as the first team will be wearing, the real problem is for small guys who can fit in the largest junior sizes who will now have to pay full price for small adult as it would now be obvious they have a junior shirt.

I suspect it's fair to say that the video/music choice reflects a contemporary Sheffield and the next generation of United fans. You only have to look at the popularity of acts like Stormzy and Santan Dave at Glasto this weekend to realize that Hip-hop is very much Main Stream, so speaks to / for an overwhelming large section of young British society.

Actually I'm in my 50s, white and folically challenged but I don't mind the video. Kids are the future of the club and the choice of a local grime artist is spot on. It's not my bag, but the people moaning about it ought to just remind themselves how miserable they sound.
