That's the problem, I get called a pig all the time, not worried about it, it's water off a ducks back.

It usually starts with a sarcastic comment from me, half joking half serious but usually fairly harmless. Comments like "We'll be able to pick up players VERY CHEAPLY from lower placed clubs now" and "They have to sell to us for next to nowt, we're in a higher League than them" and "Our stadium isn't completely redeveloped, the kop is like a cowshed built on a slag heap" "The boardroom at United has always been shit"
Someone objects
I defend it, laugh and add a bit more.
Someone else objects and throws in the word pig.
I say "Yeah, Yeah, whatever"
Half a dozen outraged souls seeing the word pig have a meltdown, their pea sized brains can't take it, so they throw in some abuse for good measure.
I defend my comments again and give some abuse back.
Before long a dozen more who haven't even read any of the thread jump in with the pig, pig, pig comments and then start adding lies, like I've been slagging Wilder off and I've targeted individual players.
So I eventually leave the thread alone.
But then, to try to continue the argument the comments continue with the words "I've disappeared because I'm a wanker and a pig who knows he's wrong"

It's pathetic, so I'm going to do my bit by agreeing with everyone and being the happiest happy clapper of all time from now on regardless of what they say. Every comment I take the time to read will get a like. That'll be fun won't it, all Blades together.

You've posted over 2.5k times. You might be negative but there's no way a pig would last this long.

Trawling through his posts to pick out the bad ones to make him look a cunt is shithousing.

You didn’t quote this one

Hi there,
I'm Callum from Sheffield Sports Commentaries. @Ssportscomms on Twitter if anyone would like to follow us. Myself and 3 others provide live commentary to partially sighted Blades fans in the ground and to people in the Sheffield Hospitals. If you know anyone who would benefit from our service or want more information, then don't hesitate to contact me through private message on here, our Twitter page, or my personal twitter @CallumCheswick. Cheers!

I didn't read them all!
Well done Callum!

As SBS said, we have a unique way of playing which he won't have ever played like before, give him time to learn the system and the teammates he'd be playing with and I think we could have a very capable striker. There's certainly worse out there.

I don’t think he will sign tbh

I don't see any harm in jovial joshing whenever that happens but more than that is likely to push those posters away.

What is the definition of "jovial joshing"?
Posting some old ITK failures?
One man's "jovial joshing" is another man's "shithousing".

Yeah not saying it's definitive and this is happening but I might as well put out what I hear. If I get it wrong then oh well, just don't hang on my every word, if I get it right, still don't hang on my every word. Football is a quickly moving business and things change so what could be right one minute could be wrong the next.

Crack on mate and ignore the negativity. You haven’t bumped off Richard Cadette have you? And where’s Eighteen89? 😁

What's it matter weather somebody's right or wrong with what they've heard, its a forum and the speculation and resulting discussion brings interesting opinions to the table... Lighten up ffs.

I agree with Hogan btw, some of my mates don't, but we're still talking up to now..

The most disappointing thing for me was the treatment posters like 1889 and I've forgotten the other ones name got..

Things got a lot less interesting when they said fuck it and disappeared..

I’ve a feeling things are hotting up a bit now. Seems to be reason to be optimistic about McBurnie. It no longer appears, if it ever did, that he’s automatically going to Brighton because he admires Potter so much. Bradley Dack is no favourite of mine. He allowed himself to become fat and lazy for a season or two and that’s unprofessional, but he was fit and firing last season. Is he a talent? Would he improve our first eleven. A big yes to both.

We haven’t got a meaningful game for a couple of months yet, so the annual fanpanic is as unnecessary as it was last season. I’m pretty confident the movement will soon, erm, start moving.

Gerremin. Gerrembothin.

To be fair so did Leon at times during his career but I can’t see it being an issue under CWAK. And I would guess that Dack has possibly matured a bit since those days.

To be fair to Dack, he got badly injured just before a big move was on the cards and I think he may have found it difficult to deal with. He was quite young at the time and he seems to have dragged himself out of whatever was happening in his head, which can’t have been easy.
If we did sign him, I’d be confident that CW and his team will have done plenty of due diligence on his character.

I disagree to an extent, strikers learn the kind of passes and crosses they get from their team mates from there. Think he made intelligent runs and that pace is something we are significantly lacking and something which is needed in the PL

For me he has something useful in terms of making runs in behind but was very poor at looking after the ball in open play. Can't hold a challenge off or make the ball stick. Useful sub in the championship but the holes in his game are too significant for the prem. The strikers coming in to compliment sharp and Mcgoldrick should be at least as good if not better which Hogan just isn't. Imagine villa would give him away for nowt as he'll be nowhere near their team and they won't want to pay his wages.

Yes Nick. I’d signimup. Stats aren’t everything but they don’t accrue by chance and his are impressive. Not so sure about his team-mate Rothwell though I’ve seen very little of him.

I ought to have mentioned that the Hendo thing seems to be looking good as well. I think we’ll be reasonably pleased with our recruitment by kick-off, and that’s when it counts, not in June.

Edit. Sorry I mixed up my Nick and my Bush but I agree with what each of you said and I can’t be arsed to cut and paste now...

Very easy with hindsight to ignore that it was totally spineless.
Wilder didn't ignore it and I'm sure he had worse to say than I did.
After all it didn't happen again

That rather suggests there were other reasons, given it would be a unique episode of invertebracy from a team full of committed, aggressive professionals who have done wonders for us. For spinelessness read Dirty Corrupt Leeds.

The lesson really is take a breath before knee-jerking. There were obviously plenty of twists and turns to come. They fell apart (again) and we got home in style.

Great team, backbones fully in place.

You made an absolute prat out of yourself. There’s no excusing it. Just own it, learn from it and move on. We’ve all been there!

I know it’s all conjecture, but Chris Wilder could sign a lad from the Peruvian first division and turn him into a world beater. Some names that may come out may not make sense and they will likely end up quality players. Wilder is a man of destiny.

Never underestimate the Peruvians,Ally did in 1978, and they made him eat his words.

I wonder if Cubillas has got a football playing son?

Why is dack fat and lazy ? Why do people say this ? Is it cause he has a tan and is seeing a bird off towie

All i see is a player who lead Blackburn to the championship then has smashed the championship ?
