Fiddling away in High Court while our Premier League chances burn.

In court yesterday the two sides ignored each other, no chat nor pleasantries and at each break the two sides scurried off to their consultation rooms. Deffo looked like not being friends, adversarial and likely to go on for a long long time with neither seeking a compromise. The 20 or so legal people in there must be loving all this on their mega day rates as things progressed at snails pace.

What this needs is not a court case but mediation to find a deal which saves face for both sides but I formed the impression both sides are too stubborn and have too much pride to back down. Ultimately not good for the team.

Cos it's got to the interesting bit. The phony war (and phony pleasantries) are over. Team McCabe are mightily pissed off over the disclosure issue and are going to plan mayhem and embarrassment over it. Dunno where it will get them following HHJ considering most of it otiose, but I think I might have been pissed off not to be allowed to see what I deemed crucial evidence on the basis of a "lack of proportionality". (Incidentally to you bastard Brexiteers, that is one EU concept you have my support against. Fucking proportionality).

Inclusivity for me, dogs should count in the attendance figures like humans.

I repeat I have not found any reassurances that it's a lot more than that though.

You won't, the club does not disclose, budgets, targets injuries or how many bottles of Peroni CW drinks. In the same way it does not show how many likes it has received.

Enjoy the moment 2 promotions in 4 years is not a cause for anxiety.
I thought you had dropped your bone gracefully several pages back, I even gave you a like for it, but I might take it back now.

Are people still discussing this 20million budget , I’ve seen no reliable source of it it pure conjecture there is no evidence to support it , I’m no fan of either of the 2 owners but I do see this topic as another tactic of attacking them.
Having said that if Wilder does walk away shame on both of them and I will never forgive them for showing a total disregard to our football club for putting personal gain above the benefit of United and I would never welcome either of them through the doors of Bramall Lane.

I’m starting to think that our co owners no longer seem to have the best interests of the club at heart😡. I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt at first but this ongoing squabble in the high court clearly shows they don’t give a shit😡😡.
My overwhelming fear is that this could potentially destabilise the club for years to come!!. I hope they both just piss off and leave us alone!!!. UTB ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Board members in Sheffield football putting themselves before their respective clubs? Perish the thought ...

The prize is so much bigger now. With a price of say £140m up for grabs, an agreement would make more sense than risking tens of millions.

Even at this late stage,is there any chance in your opinion of that happening?

Within the past month the value has shot up by some £60m ( according to the KM agreement with the Americans)
Surely within that extra 'windfall' value there can be room for a win/ win agreement for both parties. Then we could all look forward not back.

Since the owners first fell out the value of the club has gone up even more than that £60m. At first they were arguing over a club worth a fraction in comparison to now.

Aye, but in their world of avarice & greed they'll have 'lost' (at least) £30m

With a price of say £140m up for grabs,

Please show your workings :) I've heard figures from 120/170 million.

Are you talking a time period of 12 months or a 2/3 year time period including parachute (failure) period.

But are you using a 0.5 or 0.7 diameter lead in your pencil :)

Can only hear Aldous Harding. "When you jump up and down the chains almost sound like a tambourine"

She is bonkers but great.

HB or other ?

Pencils.Com?

It's based on what the great Jimmy Hagan and the great Joe Shaw would both be worth today, less 75% because McCabe would sell them cheaply, so £150m less £20m budget less £20m in legal fees for the court case which the club is paying add sky money £100m less Jags transfer fee and wages of £20m and £50m for giving the freakishly tall an extra two inches of legroom on the Kop so they don't cry.

Oh, and a plaque at the side of the road where AK did the squirrel......

Just landed on the most recent page after having been enticed by the thread title.
Anyone able to summarise? On the face of it looks like way too much a load of bollocks to waste time on I'll never get back.
Cheers.

Hey Tom, I was replying respectfully to your questions.:)

The one thing people forget is the reason football clubs get bought in the championship is biggest take them to the premier league = big money! People don’t buy clubs that have just been promoted and more than likely will get relegated! Look at Hull when they beat pigs in play off final. Owner was desperate to sell and he’s still there.

Anyone make sense of what the Pig is trying to say?
