How refreshing to see such an original topic up for discussion. Makes a change from the 3,786 "Blackwell out" threads that have appeared.

Er, hang on a minute......

Er, hang on a minute......
It's a vital and urgent topic which is fundamental to the future of our club. No wonder people want to emphasise it. Well done to anyone who contributes to keeping the matter centre stage. It won't go away, mate.

The Clown has to go. His days are numbered.

Blacko OUT!

I don't mind the discussion of it, and I don't happen to think that Blackwell is the right man for the job. I used to, but not anymore and not for quite a while. I hope we win every match from now until Blackwell dies of old age. I'd love him to suddenly reveal himself to be a tactical genius, and for us to storm the league, breeze through the play-offs and tonk somebody at Wembley. I'd like us to hurtle up the Premier League and be in Europe in a couple of years. I'd love it to be under Blackwell if only so we won't have to endure another season of dross.

But I don't think that will happen. I've got more chance of winning the lottery tonight, and I've not even bought a ticket.

Blackwell isn't the manager we either want or need. But another thread starting with the same old tired cliches instead of contributing anything new to the argument is as compelling as a pint of sick.

If there was a new point to be made then it would be worthwhile. But it's not given us anything original, merely let another poster start his own "Blackwell out" thread just for the hell of it.

It's not the discussion of Blackwell being either terrible or a secret genius, it's more that the thread doesn't give us anything new.

You make your point well.

You make your point well.

Cheers. I'm not trying to have a personal dig at anyone, but it's getting to be overkill.

Have I been watching too much Scooby Doo...?
Ten seconds is too much Scooby Doo.
It's always the caretaker ;)
And they never twig, do they? Even the fat brainy bird never ever figures that they've never seen a real monster in all their travels. I can accept such behaviour from a drugged up scruffy twat like Shaggy, and Great Danes aren't exactly the brightest crime solvers, but you'd think the humans would work out that the next big scary monster will be the first. They never think to just lamp the ghoul with a frying pan do they? Idiots.:D

Who has he stabbed in the back, and who is operating him in a Jim-Henson-and-Kermit stylie?

If he became our most succesful manager ever would you want rid? If he won the Champion's League, thrashing Barcelona in the final, would you still want rid?

When did he stab Warnock in the back? Oh, you must mean when he changed his job. How bloody dare he want to go and work somewhere else, the dastardly swine. I guess that must mean most of us on here are "back-stabbers" then, because I've certainly left one job for another. Anybody else?

As far as McCabe operating him like Kermit, if you mean that Blackwell has been told what do do by his boss and then done it, well shock and horror all round. So we all must be muppets too, unless you are the sort of bad-ass rebel that tells his boss to shove his instructions up his bum. There's a special place for people like that. It's called the dole queue.

Please not, this isn't a defence of Blackwell at the moment. It's more meant to point out that just because he has changed his job and does what he is told to by his boss isn't perhaps reason enough to be demanding he be sacked. McCabe has every right to sack him for not delivering wins, but sacking Blackwell for doing what he was told to is a bit extreme.

The aroma of fine Arabica wafted gently under the nostrils of McCabe as he sat up from his slumber and heard United's 3rd hit the back of the net in the 96th minute.....

Get back to Hillsborough....obviously not a Blade.

At least we know Beighton Blade cares about the club even if his opinions cause much debate at times
