Best I can do on Pegasus is that they won a friendly 8-1 against Sheffield FC at the Lane on December 27, 1952, in front of a crowd of 11,168. A year before my first match. No idea why they played. 95th anniversary of Sheffield FC, perhaps?
Pinner was quite well known, and played a few games for Wednesday and other clubs, as an amateur I believe.

Thanks for that, never mind your best that's excellent, even the attendance figure and what a good one, such detail, I like it. I was 10 & 9 months, roughly, when attending the game and the thing that drew me was their badge and it's size, it was quite large as badges went in those days. I'll have a look in The Official FA Year book '52, there are records of all major competitions in there. Score line also must be an indicator as to why it was a select amateur XI for the '57 100 Year match, again thank you.

Apart from the first one anybody got any ideas of games involved?
Two of the games look like us v Bolton at Bunden Park in the late 60’s early 70’s. Can’t see who we’re playing in the other one, it’s at the Lane with Billy Dearden and Tom McCalister in our goal.
