Maybe I missed this thread, but The Sun, I know, are saying that £7 mil is enough to tempt him home. What is going on?

He is probably the best young keeper in the game but still raw and no where near good enough for a top PL side.

Suspect Man Utd will either
1: Loan him to us for a further year to monitor how he progresses playing PL football or
2: They sell him to us for, say 7 million but put various clauses where they can buy him back in a few years, maybe at an agreed price.

Wilder has said that he’s already started the ball rolling concerning hendo as he visited old Trafford last week. Not sure about fees but can’t see man ure being bothered either way as long as they get money for him.
Don’t think they’ll be asking a sky high fee!!. UTB.⚔️⚔️

That would suit everybody best, Henderson probably doesn't want to be loaned out constantly for his entire career. And he will be, Man Utd won't be able to resist spending £50 million on another goalkeeper at some point in the future

He comes to us for £7 million, builds his rep up, becomes an International and then he can be Man Utd's future £50 million signing

Isn’t there a rule coming out after next season about how many you can loan out etc to stop them collecting all these players. Think it’s season after next. Might be in there interest whilst stocks high.

No chance we’d get him for £7m! Minimum £12m, but more likely £14m or £15m he would go for.

He will not sign on a permanent. He said during the awards night he wants to play for Man united, and playing here in the prem can help him achieve that and Englands number 1. We could quite easily get him on loan for a year with an option of two if we stay up.

He's either in or out, fuck Man U, this is your home Deano.

Why would man united do that when they can just loan him and keep him

My ambition is to play for Sheff U, doesn’t mean it’ll ever happen

But deano is possibly only de gea refusing a contract away from been given a chance.

Wouldn’t be surprised especially with holly gunner sol shire there

He won't be the first young player they've let go. Henderson also has a say in the matter as well. Does he want to rot at Man Utd, go out on loan constantly or sign for a Premier League club.

Honestly don't see an issue with signing a favourable to Man United contract for him if he continues to progress at the rate he has been.

Sign him for £7m with a buy back which gives us a slim profit if Man U want him back in 2 years, if they don't, nothing happens, if they do then so be it (although obviously that would all be forgotten by a lot of people and it'd be "typical yoonited selling England's number one for £12m").

Loans are going to be priceless commodities next season in the Prem with their rules so to be honest, if we can get a keeper permanently it'd be a lot better for us, and the keeper we want is Deano.

He’s 22 and is probs next if de gea decides leave.

We might be above Manchester Utd at the end of next season. They are pretty shut.

Really need to try and get him on a permanent deal. With the right clauses I think there is a deal to be done..

The 2 loan limit in the PL could be hugely beneficial and if we can sign Dean and not take up a loan slots then that would be ideal

Am I the only one that's not that bothered?
Hes enjoying his time getting himself ready for manure first team. That's the top and bottom of it.

Whilst bringing in a new goalie wouldn't be ideal given weve a battle on our hands next year I dont think it's an unattainable ask for Wilder to already have this covered.
Whilst our defence are playing in a whole new park next year they're not about to become absolute shit. And their performance has certainly added to the top class season deano has had.
I wouldn't go any more than £5m.
