After defeats to Swansea at home and the 3.0 defeat at Boro -Did anyone else think like me that it could be a long hard season that we might struggle to get anywhere near promotion and even had dark thoughts of returning to league one ?

Yes definitely when we had Lundstrum and Evans starting in midfield, I really thought we would be about mid table again

I went for 13th at the start of the season..

Got that a bit wrong.


I will take that as a finishing position next season though.

I didn't think we'd be able to sign Norwood, he was the big signing which changed everything

I thought tenth ,hoped that the stars might align and we could nick 6th but that would have been Roy of the rivers stuff wouldn't it ?

and that was the problem in a nutshell - problem solved a few games later.

similar happened in L1 - a few changes in personnel, changes to formation and away we went.

The management team are not afraid to change when they know they've got it wrong.
