Hopefully we'll smash it on Saturday, and if we do I'm sure the players will be rewarded appropriately. But I'm wondering if any bonus is based on final position or simply promotion. I wonder if there is a financial carrot to chasing down Norwich, or will the players be too busy bathing in Crystal to care.

I think they would probably get a bonus for finishing top 6 then more for 2nd then more for 1st? the main bonus I would imagine would be in wage increases for promotion. No idea how much though, but I'd say that was the biggest carrot on offer.

The financial incentives will most likely be significant.

Both in terms of one off bonus payments and I have no doubt plenty of players will have automatic lifts in basic salaries on reaching the PL.

Last year when Cardiff went up there was a £10 million bonus pot to be divided up between the players based on appearances etc
Obviously no idea what the incentive scheme is for us, but will be significant I guess
