I've got tickets in the Billy Whitehurst stand. Rows A B C D X and Z. Seat numbers ranging from 23 to 86.

Mates are sat in the Methadone Corner but not sure which row.

Just been looking on their forum. They’ve a real one sided dislike of us and I’ve never really understood why?
They even manage to slag real legends and greats such as Alan Woodward off.
Really weird bunch, they’re not rivals in any sense to me, but the way they go on you’d think they were from across the city.

Don't want to steal Roys thunder but the view from is going to be a classic from this lot. Tigers, Tigers ra ra ra. Plastic fans from an egg chasing City.

Set of chearing barstewards wonder if they've got their supply of tennis balls ready. Add in the Madkins factor and this is going to be a tasty game.

The game in 1977/78 may have fixed some prejudices too - the one where United fans went across the pitch and Hull fans were clambering into the seats behind the terrace on the home end to escape the naughtiness. Not big or clever but it happened in the 70's and, no doubt, formed lingering emnities for certain generations.

United won 3-2 (Stainrod (2), Edwards)

Keith Edwards.

Master class in how to score from a corner from Woody. Hope the players see this. He also manages to deliver the ball with pin-point accuracy without having to put the ball right on the edge of the corner spot.

Great game that one. Loads of Blades on the side terrace and several pitch invasions if I remember correctly.

For the first goal, the Hull players were running towards Colquhoun. It seems they were instructed to watch him. We must have had earlier corners that were aimed at Colquhoun but the Hull players successfully crowded him out so it looked like Woody aimed for Addison this time

Is it me or do the blades fans behind the goal on the left celebrate hulls goal as well. Looks like two different games with the camera changing quality as well.

Aye, looks like they changed cameras for the second half!

My guess is that someone has stitched together this video from two separate sources, which have aged differently.

Lovely improvised finish from Addison for the equaliser.

Yes, two Hull goals were from a Hull fan who put them in you tube. The Blades goals were from a Blade fan who put them in you tube

Evening all ,
Ive been reading this forum for a while now since blades mad went downhill . So I’ve decided to sign up and get involved .
Lived in Dull for quite a few years now but my it’s quite a dump ! Many dull fans I know seem to prefer us Blades going up rather than the dirties . Bit of a long shout but if anyone has a spare ticket that they need to sell for whatever reason then please let me know , I will pay whatever you want and can also offer a parking space 10 mins from the stadium , 5 if you walk fast !
Anyhow up the Blades and let’s hope we grab this chance . Still can’t quite believe fridays turn of events . Incredible .UTB

I remember an away night match during our climb back out of the fourth division when it was freezing and pissing down, and they had that tiny little overhang for us to shelter under.
Hated the bastards ever since.

The match at Burnley, that is, Burnley v Hull, when Hull needed to win to stop us being promoted, won’t have endeared us to them. There were thousands of Blades there (me included) supporting Burnley.

Hull didn’t win. (I think it was a draw?). And the joy was felt from Turf Moor via Todmorden and all the way back to Sheffield.

Yes well.. they could have lost (FFS) but I don’t think they did. It’s a long time ago now and all I remember is they needed to win but didn’t. The rest is a blur. Too many stops on the way home, including The Staff of Life pub in Todmorden, where we raised glasses with fellow Blades.

That Google thingymibob is a wonderful thing.
