The ref allowed them to take the free kick about 5 yards behind where the foul took place this made the goal possible - he would never have got the ball up and down from the correct place....... shame

He let Steven Fletcher knock the ball out of Krul's hands with his forearm and then tap it in the net, and let their goalie off with a yellow card for denying Pukki a clear goalscoring opportunity when he caught the ball outside of his box. They didn't have a goalie on the bench either.

And you think that 30 seconds more extra time and the ball being moved a couple of yards was the injustice worth talking about from that game?

Hilarious that Steve Bruce had a little moan about that free kick whilst completely ignoring the Maradona ball and the goalkeeper who thought he was playing rugby union.

It's all irrelevant. Wendy can't catch us and it's unlikely that we'll catch the Budgie Nudgers. I'm glad Wendy didn't win. Norwich are good as up. It's between us and Leeds.

Can’t understand why the clock can’t be displayed like it is in rugby. No lack of transparency then. I have never understood why subs don’t result in the clock stopping. It’s bloody ridiculous- a team could “legitimately” take 3 x 3 minutes out of a game if they work it right (“get into the far corner when you get the sign son and then plod off”). Apart from that, if I’ve paid to watch, I’d like to see 90 minutes of play please.

I think the rules are changing next season and substituted players must leave pitch by the closest touch line.....

Because Rugby is crap and that's why attendances have been falling for years.

Leeds Rhino's the biggest super league club by attendances in 2018.... a whopping 14,950 average attendance.

Which makes the biggest Rugby League side in England about the same size as Millwall FC.... that's why we shouldn't be more like rugby.
I had union in mind, fairly significant game I think

Looks like I've turned up a new species .... a canary with an irony bypass - absolutely spot on with your 3rd paragraph though watching the fat fucker Bruce on TV, it was the funniest thing I've ever seen.....:p

I see Brucey boy was moaning saying that the free kick shouldn't have been taken as it was 2 mins over the allotted time announced.....strange then that old fatty didn't have the same attitude to the Pigs over time equaliser in the Millers Cup Final game...

Bruce isn't just a 'SWFC fat boy', hes actually a 'SWFC hypocritical fat boy'.

The more I hear this fool talk, the more I realise what a first class wanker this man is. He's a perfect match for the Pigs.

As if Leeds could win their next three games.... I'd be amazed if they managed to get even a point against Villa on current form. Considering they've just lost to 10 man Wigan at home.... makes our point away to Wigan the other day look much better.

Leeds haven't got the bottle.

Norwich are unbeaten in 11 games.... should probably take us out of the equation and not get ahead of yourselves, and just focus on being less shit than Leeds for the next two weeks.

Point I was making is that Norwich could stretch that run to 17 and not go up.

Because it’s football and for some reason it takes years to change things. Look at VAR, video replays have been a success in every sport it has been introduced into, yet football has to wait 20+ years after sports like cricket.

You could stop time wasting tomorrow if like you say there was a countdown timer in the ground. The subs could do a lap of honour and no one would give a shit because everyone can see the clock has stopped.

if norwich go up it will because of that. they turned so many defeats into draws or draws into win in stoppage time. could be 15pts

“It’s not fair that they scored so late, the ref allowed too much time, he wasn’t fit to referee.”
What about the handball when Fletcher thought he was a Harlem Globetrotter, and the ref didn’t see it?
“That’s fine, the ref gave it and he’s the man in charge. Doesn’t matter what replays show, the ref is in charge of the game and what he says goes.”

Yeah and the point I was making is that whilst that is mathematically sound..... it requires Leeds to win 3 games out of 3...... which is unrealistic, because they haven't got the bottle.

You mentioned Leeds Rhinos earlier, they play Rugby League, and now you mention Rugby Union, make your mind up FFS.

What? Even funnier than Michael McIntyre, Millican and Miranda? :D

Is that the same Bruce who played for Man. U. when they were famous for 'Fergie Time'?

TBF the foul was at 95:30 and it took a minute to set up and take it. The substitution took 58 seconds ( from when Mattias sliced it out to when the ref blew to take the corner) so if the ref added that time onto the 5 mins it was fair that they were still playing when the foul was given. ALTHOUGH It used to be that the only time that the ref should allow time to restart a game beyond the allotted time was for a penalty to be taken

I'm pretty sure Norwich could go unbeaten and not go up?

Us and Leeds five behind, Norwich draw three [then eight clear], we both win three so nine overhauls them.

Norwich lose the playoff final on pens [assumes playoff 2xwins or win+draw] and they can be unbeaten [except pens] and stay down.

If Norwich lose both of their next games 1-0, and Leed win one game 5-0 and one game 4-0...... Norwich won't get promoted.

Shitting myself :D

Our players are at the training ground from 9am to 4pm every day.

They have two training sessions... one in the morning, one in the afternoon. This also ensures that our players always eat a club chef prepared meal at lunch time.

Why should it surprise people that we score lots of late goals when the other team is blowing out of their arses for the last 15 minutes because their players they leave the training ground at 12.30 and head to the bookies via McDonalds or for a quick bonk with their bit on the side?

Most clubs in the Championship aren't up to par with these 21st century continental standards and fitness is the reason we are top of the league.
