I was on the box for that match under the 'United' series, on the Kop.

Thought we had properly blown it, i was more frustrated than a Monk at a Porno convention, and then Deano scored in the last minute and the load was well and truly blown..

We lost 3-1 at Bolton on Easter Monday afternoon. We had 1 game left and only 1 point ahead of Hull who had 3 games left. That night already relegated Port Vale beat Hull 1-0 which was a shock. On the Saturday we beat Newport 2-0, middle of the table Bristol Rovers held Hull to a 0-0 draw. Hull then had to win their last game at Burnley by 3 goals! Told my son that Wigan's result reminded me of that Port Vale v Hull match
