With Blades playing Millwall and Sheff Wed fans travelling to Leeds for their late kick off is there a potential for huge clashes in Sheff city centre tomorrow? I would imagine there will be a large police presence however, town should be avoided like the plague!

I agree but whatever sky want they get !!
Also could be very busy in the pubs as all the 700k pig fans will be out in force to watch the match whilst I'm sure allot of blades fans will also be in the pub watching it , all willing the same result !

What could possibly go wrong? Blades + Wendy + Millwall + Weeds = Armageddon

On a side note, watch the overly large number of Blades fans slope off with 10 minutes to go - always happens when we play Millwall.

Peace and love all over Sheffield then! SYP can have a day off.

You can just see the SYP Tweets now:

Saturday night: Another successful operation for SYP, well done guys! Great job!

Monday Stir headline: "SYP Lose control as Sheffield United fans run riot attacking innocent Wednesday and Owls fans"

Tuesday: SYP Police Tweet: We're looking for these people in connection with incidents on Saturday (Attach: grainy images)

Wednesday: Stir Headline: "Football should be banned says SYP chief"

Thursday: Sky Sports Tweet: We've moved all of Sheffield United and Wednesdays home games to be played on the same day, saturday at 1730

Friday: SUFC Tweet: Based on SYP Police advice, we now have to net off 29,000 seats. All home games will now be away fans only.

Another reason for SYP to create an de militarised zone outside all the boozers near the Lane. :(

Any one drinking at the Senitel tomorrow needs to take plenty of pound coins so that they let Wall fans have their money back from last season. Spa shop next to the Railway Station is stocking up on free cans for Millwall as part of their ransack sale.:D

Straight to work, for me after our game....right in the city centre.

No doubt they'll be a few spectacles mid shift then.

Why would Leeds fans be in Sheffield ?

This will be happening...

I'll never understand the barrier at John St/Bramall Lane when we can just go along Countess Road and then through the church yard and join Bramall Lane about 100 yards further down. Don't even think you need to go through the church yard, do they put a barrier up on Clough Road/Bramall Lane? I don't think they do, and that's a massive 282 feet further down the road than the John St/Bramall Lane junction.

No.

Maybe the railway station should be avoided. But “town” should not be avoided because of this. Town should be avoided because there’s no good reason to visit it, unless you are in the hunt for charity shops or want to get your nails done.

I really hope we beat that horrible club. I live just round the corner from their ground and I wish them every failure available.

Until someone scores a goal that takes us up, McGoldrick’s winner there was my moment of the season.

All be happening in the underpass or outside decathlon then when the diverted fans coincidentally meet up as they get back on track to where they wanted to be in the first place. Looking forward to getting bricks and bottles thrown at us again.

Don't get all this hatred for millwall they are just passionate football fans same as us and many other s they have idiots so do we have been there many times and had drinks and talk to them normally they are no worse than Leeds or Weds Stoke or many others in my book I admire their loyalty and passion
