Preston's 12-match unbeaten run came to an end yesterday.
Our 10-match unbeaten run came to an end too.
So who will bounce back the stronger?
I'm thinking a draw might be a good result.

I think we'll bounce back with a win, but then again i thought we'd finish these last 8 games unbeaten

I think we’ll react better and win due to us being a better side than them and we’ve reacted to setbacks very well all season.

We’ve not had any must wins yet but this is the first for me this season.

A draw would not be a good result, only a win will do now, we need to stick to Leeds like glue now if we're going to have any chance of auto.

Not a good result as in towards our campaign BB, more of a good result because I fear getting beat, especially if JOC and Duffers are still out.

We normally bounce back from poor performances, especially this season. My only concern are the JOC and Duffy injuries, plus with Madine out for this one too, all of a sudden we feel a bit depleted.

Hogan getting off the mark is a big plus though. I think he could be the difference on the run in.

Leeds was a must-win for me. But we bounced back after Villa with a fantastic run so reckon we can do it again

Leeds was a must win. Even more so looking at it now, if we'd have lost that game we'd be 8 points behind them at this point....

EDIT: Just seen your reply above. :D

Who knows but the manner of defeat was as bad as Rotherham away. We’ve obviously done fantastically well this season and gone on an unbelievable run but I’ll always be concerned after such a poor performance.

On reflection though we have probably been quite poor in a few games but won, so it’s less noticed.

In terms of the OP and who will handle it the best. Let’s be honest, none of us have got a fucking clue, but we will all know by 17:00 next Satdy.

I think we’ll win on Saturday but it won’t be easy?. The lads have always responded well after a defeat and I expect them to do it again. Wilder won’t accept anything less!!.
I still believe we can make 2nd spot.
We just need to take it one game at a time and see where it takes us?. UTB

I'm thinking a win in every game now would be a good result. No time now to think about draws, full on assault required.

We've been following each other quite a bit, interesting how these things pan out, next 2 games;

PNE v Blades
Brum v Leets

Leeds are going to beat brummies in free fall. We have to win and will have the advantage of 6k passionate fans cheering us on. Football gods please let us have a full strength squad. Pressure goes up with every game we are still in touch - nervejangling but would take this over mid table security any day of the week. only a month now till end of season and what a month it's going to be.

Think we are looking at the play offs (just my gut feeling) and we need to prepare to be mentally strong and ultimately look at this as a positive aspect. God knows who will finish 6th as it could be any from:

Villa
FLDC
Brizzle
Boro
Florist
Preston
Grunters
Hull
Brentford

There are no easy pickings in that lot !

If Leeds open up a gap of more than 3 points then it will be very difficult to pull it back.

*It's a good job that we beat Leeds the other week because if we had lost that game then there would be a 9 point gap  and that would have been it!

Still we fight on !!!

UTMB! :D

Also now looking at West Brom as well.

If West Brom catch us, we won't be above Leeds anyway.

7 wins gives us 95 points
I can see us setting a new record for a team to only reach the play offs...…..and fail
Wouldn't that be just typical of Sheffield United

What is 'typical' for Sheffield United is for some fans to take on a defeatist 'plucky loser' attitude, which can become self-fulling. Chris Wilder has brought in a new mentality, and we look up, not down. We can definitely do this. Nothing is written in the stars - it is up to us (assuming that Leeds will drop at least two points). It's a long time since we had such a great bunch of players to believe in.

I can only speak for myself but over the years Sheffield United Football Club have managed to delivery some almighty kick in the balls right when things were looking good. I know this squad is good and I believe in CW/AK but I am constantly looking out for that iceberg. It's become second nature I'm afraid.

Believe, we need to, the players need to and Wendy need too!
If they can continue their unbeaten under Blockhead run, then that's points off the top 2, and that would be amazing!
