At last back in action after the oh so frustrating international break. All big games now, starting this afternoon with the visit of Bristol City. The Robins are right in the chasing pack for a play off place, and visit BDBL today looking to complete the first double over us in their history....

So...

Any team news? :)

Obviously Madine still suspended...

Start unchanged from the Leeds game?

I do not see this as an easy game by any stretch of the imagination. These next 8 are going to be very testing on the nerves. I'm hopeful we can get the result we need today, and that's hopeful rather than confident. However, as is necessary, I'll suggest a 2-1 Blades win, and a Norwich slip up :)

Should be a great game. I don't see any game as being easy. None. Not a single one. I haven't done all season. It's 11 v 11 and anything can happen on the day. What we do know though is that both these teams are good teams and the league table suggests it will be a fairly tight game.

However, I've a feeling that this could be another performance like the home game v Villa this season, when we absolutely tore them apart.

I was at Bristol City for the game earlier this season when we lost 1-0. I thought we were the best team for most of it and certainly didn't deserve to lose.

So, it's payback time today for me.

Blades 4 Bristol City 0

I dreamed we won 3-0, all scored in the first half. Hope it isn't quite that as i've had some other dreams of late, and i'd rather they be consigned to fiction............

I know where you’re coming from, we didn’t deserve to lose at Ashton Gate but hey that’s football. Can’t be going with a 4-0 score though, that’s just asking for trouble, Blades to win both teams to score will be my bet

COME ON BOYS, LETS FUCKING AV IT!!

Got to be a win today, hopefully the other 2 slip up, 4 off third and 1 off top would be magic going to Preston.

COYRAWW!!!!

I’ll settle for a shithousing scrappy 1-0 win today with a fluke that deflects off the left testicle of the referee
3 points. Job done
:)

It's a testament to how far we've come in such a short space of time that I woke up this morning feeling like it was cup semi final day. Every single match is now vital, and every one is a potential banana skin.

Roll on 3pm. COYRAWW!

Confident our vibes will be too high today and the boys will feel no pressure.

Close game but a confident performance and another clean sheet with and 2 goals to the blades..

Off to bed in a few hours for a kip then up at 2am! . Bristol and Leeds mates whatsapped already giving them shit.

Don’t know much about Bristol but I suspect we’ll see a ‘park the bus’ performance from them.

Absolutely gutted that I can't be there today. Just get the win lads, anyway possible. UTB

Fully expecting us to revert to our classic line-up – Duffy hasn’t played a minute of football since the Rotherham game and will surely start today. I think McGoldrick will start (but will probably be subbed). Bash back to RCB.

This will be a very tough game, but we’re a confident side, we know what we need to do, and I think we’ll win today.

Very difficult game against a team that have had no end of good fortune against us at Bramall Lane on numerous occasions.

I can't remember them out playing us, but they always seem to get the rub of the green against us

Wilder banging on about the fans again in the programme and the need for a good atmosphere, appealing for “extra vigour”. Doesn’t he realise the atmosphere is fine, absolutely doesn't need improving, and that numbers alone is enough?

Must be injured which is a blow, was hoping he'd start. Just need Dids and Dowell to bring the flair and hope they haven't tired too much playing for ROI/ENG.
No news of an injury, just looks like we're adding an extra striker, perhaps because McG has played lots of football recently
