No mention in that article of Wilders January strengthening. Wilder targeted our key areas as
1: We need more opinion up front so we don’t need to rely on Sharp being in good form and
2: We rely too much on the creativity of Duffy, who can be marked out of a game, so we needed another player for the Duffy role.

The key to our success in the 2nd half is we DON’T rely on Sharp and we can afford to regularly drop him to keep him fresh,
Also we now don’t rely on Duffy because Dowell or McGoldrick can play a form of that role.

Basically we have more more options that either Norwich or Leeds.

If any one could give us a valid reason.we might fall away I might get upset but so far ...Not so much

Darren Eadie - or as those close to him know him as, Cuntchops McWankface.
He’s still got the lip on after being slammed on Twitter as the most unprepared pundit ever to appear on Sky. That’s why they only wheel him out when Norwich are playing cus he knows sod all about anybody else.

The whole football world is determined to hate, belittle and ignore us. It's even reached Spain where we're a racist club apparently, it's all brought on by the media and their hatred for us. Let them carry on doing it, they're just showing what stupid, ignorant pricks they really are.

It's typical really that Marc McNulty has to reverse his way down the football pyramid before he is deemed good enough to get a game for Scotland, there's not a cat in hells chance he'd have got a game if he was still with us, just like Fleck won't.

Do you really believe what you are saying here? I've been supporting the Blades since the days of Mick Jones, and I have never seen or heard so many nice things said about our team as in the last two seasons.
As for Fleck not getting a game. Maybe he's just not good enough?

Not good enough to get into a team that just ripped to bits by Kazakhstan?

Colin Murray
Leroy Rosenior
Seem to be the only ones that do their research

Don Goodman, Keith Andrews, David Prutton, Andy Hinchcliffe, Michael Brown and Dave Kitson have all spoken highly of us this season as well.

It's not a case of 'they're all out to get us'. We shouldn't let the views of a few idiots cloud some of the recognition we've received.

I'm not holding my breath for a Fatty Samuels compliment any time soon though.

Is doesn’t really surprise me regards Rowett. Remember his post match comments from 2 year ago just after we beat them 3-1.
His conclusion was the same old stereotype of we work hard, physical and organised.
My conclusion was were simply the better team and had higher quality players on the day.

Derby County manager Gary Rowett:

"The first 20 minutes really summed up our problems. I spoke to the players about what to expect.

"We knew it was going to be a high-intensity game, the likes of Sheffield United are going to see teams like Derby and try and outwork them, outfight them and make it uncomfortable for them.

"You've got to match that intensity in any Championship game, but in particular away from home, and we didn't do that."

Never ceases to amaze me how these qualities are almost used as an insult. In what world other than football is working harder and wanting success a quality to be sneered at?

Felt sorry for him with how he was treated at Birmingham, but has since showed he has similar morals. Fuck him and his opinions quite honestly.....

It’s a common used EXCUSE.

It’s basically saying forget the result, Derby County are really the better side with a much higher quality ceiling but the Sheff United players “wanted it more” and played to their maximum potential. He’s saying Derby County can and will play better and over a number of games will finish higher than a more limited Sheff United.

The “organised. very physical, work hard” cliche is used for EVERY single team that plays in the lower divisions.
That is Mark Lawrensons discription of every lower division team that plays in the FA cup against a PL side.

If we reach the PL it’s going\g to be funny when the so called experts compare us to a Cardiff City, no doubt they’ll compare Wilder to Warnock saying they are almost identical. It will be the same old cliches.
We “play to our strengths”, we are “super organised, physical and tough to breakdown”.
We have a “never say die attitude and try to out battle the oppostion`’

Gary Rowett’s four managerial jobs have lasted 142,106, 60 and 29 games, so he’s looking at less than half a season next time around.

It really doesn’t matter what Gary Rowett or any other pundit thinks, we may ultimately fail, but every Blade knows that what is happening now is very special.

Which is it then?

Do we want to fly under the radar and go about our business quietly or do we want acknowledgement and praise from every pundit and media outlet?

Seems people get upset with both.

There are a few pundits that "get it"
Very few

The very few saying nice things about us is just a change from everyone and his dog slagging us off, so it appears like we're getting lots of praise when in fact 99% of comments are the same usual bullshit from the same washed up second rate players and unemployed managers.
Most pundits and reporters are just pricks, they haven't got a clue what to say, they are like rabbits stuck in the headlights when a camera or microphone is stuck in their face because they've done no research or study into what they're going to be asked to comment on.

You'd think any pundit going on the TV or on a radio station to comment about THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROMOTION RACE would study us and find out what we're about, but they don't. They believe that we don't warrant their time and effort, that it's all some freak of nature. So the same tired, old, bullshit, cliches come out.

We can call some of it hatred considering the worst comments we've heard lately have come from Eadie, Mills and Bamford who are Leeds and Norwich players or ex players. It is at least disdain and lack of respect from most others

We just want to slag pundits off for being shit
Nobody gives a toss what they're saying, we just like embarrassing them

I've watched us several times on Sky this season and to me, they've always been very complimentary about the style of football we play. They've mentioned the overlapping centre backs and how we can take teams apart. It's just of late, we've had to grind out results and naturally that'll be the focus more so than free-flowing football. I did hear on Talksport yesterday them summarising the promotion race and they mentioned how we can get a result whatever the circumstances, and doubt that Leeds can; I'll take that as a compliment. Because Leeds have got Bielsa, they'll always be seen as a free-flowing attacking side, which on the whole they are, but I have heard similar comments about us too.

If Rowett thinks Leeds are better equipped to stay up on the basis of them not relying on one player, I'd say that Billy Sharp could well be on the bench next season if we go up, because we'll obviously strengthen up there, and Billy may well have to be on the bench to start with. Leeds are likely to spend much bigger than us if they go up, that's for sure, but we've got the best manager in this league and no doubt, one of the best in the next too.

He's just another vacuous twat thats made himself wealthy off the back of his own inadequacies and failures... the crazy world of football management.

Or maybe Strachan and McLeish are just usesless footballing dinosaurs who should have been written off two decades ago?

That may be true, but they also have 2 or 3 very decent midfielders who are arguably as good as, or better, than Fleck.

I think that the media in general have been quite complementary towards us and Wider throughout the season with a few notable exceptions.

However, as we head towards the finishing line, l also can’t help thinking that the media in general would like nothing better than to see the likes of Leeds and Villa get ‘back to where they belong’ at our expense, whilst of course giving us a good old slap on the back for being such plucky contenders for so long against all the odds.

Lawrenson is a twat. When we were last in the Premier League he would routinely predict we would lose 2-1 whilst writing that we struggle to score goals and he couldn't see where our next would come from. I did wonder how we would score that goal in his predictions!

Was he not correct?

We did struggle to score goals, that's why we were relegated.
