We scored in many of the matches we lost.

How strange, two supposed professionals saying the opposite of most pundits and supporters. Seems that a mediocre minority have a view that we're ordinary and lucky to be here........well good luck to them, but if opinions are sought in future I suggest that other views are sought, such as Liam Rosenior, who seems to have his finger on the pulse of what separates us from other teams. Sure, we have off days, but our general standard of play is excellent, so Tony and Gary can take their uninformed views and try and attempt to improve their own standing in the game.

A comment from Mowbray that is quite remarkable in its stupidity. If there is one thing that almost all the opposing managers agree on, it's the fact that United are playing a unique system. Even the great Bielsa said as much after the game at the Lane. If playing a unique system isn't "cutting-edge", then I'm not sure what is.

It is quite clear, as Grayblade says a couple of pages back, that there has been a very discernible change of attitude towards United in the past couple of weeks. I noticed it manifest immediately after the win over Brentford.

Up until then, we had been liberally showered with praise in the media and by opposition fans, and had most opposition managers expressing that we were 'the best team they had played'. The Brentford game seems to have been a watershed, though.

It was perhaps unsurprising that Norwich fans seemed to suddenly get the lip on and start cosying up to Leeds, as they must have been sat at home 30 minutes in, thinking that we were bound to slip up. For others, however, it seems to have been the awful moment of realisation that United weren't going to just slip quietly away.

Of course, we then compounded this by beating the best side the Championship has ever seen. That was simply not in the script.

So, having failed to fall away, we now find ourselves the target of some ill informed sniping.

God knows why so many seem to be pulling for the supposedly universally hated Leeds United, who have added to their inglorious historic rap sheet through their manager's actions this season. And, I'm not sure what special interest there is in having the re-run of 'Norwich City in the Premier League for a season to no effect' show, which happens every 4 or 5 years, and provides the parachute money to maintain their yo-yo status.
