After today's absolutely Herculean effort and outcome the prize is in our hands.
Match Leeds over the last 8 games.
Listening to Billy post match the lads want it done way before that and the play offs are not an option although today mathematically guarantee them as worst case scenario.

I am lost for words to describe my pride in and admiration for our team and management.
Just when I think we've peaked they kick into another gear and go further, better and higher.

I believe we are close to claiming what would be the greatest achievement in our clubs history.
I say that in the context of and against the competition it would be attained.

I listen to our lads in interview and feel very humble. Their modesty and total belief in each other and what we are looking to do is remarkable.

I have never in 50 years following our club been as proud of and in love with all involved in this wonderful journey.

However it ends I will never forget what my club has given me this last three seasons.

Eight cup finals

as I was saying somewhere else, this not the summit this is just base camp because we have a tough run in. we are either playing play off contenders or top 6 form teams with expection of Millwall or Ipswich & Millwall are no pushovers. as we have got to play Bristol city Preston Forest Hull & Stoke

True.
But you know as well as I do this thing is special.

Yep, sure do me old mucka, very special situation exists at the club
We've had some special situations under Bassett and Warnock where workmanlike honest players put a shift in, but this is different, we've got some real quality

One thing about the run-in is that it will be very difficult, in my opinion, to grow any sort of cushion over 3rd place. Possible.. but very difficult.

We will either be keeping a very small gap or yo-yoing between the two, and I think we have to be prepared for that.

I get the impression that some of our fans think that now we're a point ahead that we have a huge advantage, but I would disagree. It's an advantage for sure, but only a small one, though our goal difference does help a lot.

However, one bad weekend where we lose and they win, and we're right back to where we were before this game. Hold on, it's going to be an exciting ride to the finish!
