Who thought last nights champagne moment was our fabulous goalies overhead kick/slice that he had to scramble to save?
It would be better just to go along with whoever Deadbat selects as MoMThe last two MOTM have been a bit of a farce really, shows you that the majority of voters are doing so on Twitter at home.
Henderson was very good last night, but how the MOTM could have come from anyone but one of the centre-backs is baffling.
It was a great recovery but it was terrible judgement in the first place. It clearly wasn't a pass back, he should've collected it.Who thought last nights champagne moment was our fabulous goalies overhead kick/slice that he had to scramble to save?

That was my reaction at the time too. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen us concede a free kick for a backpass – seen us win a couple, but not concede.
I didn't think it was a backpass live, but it was:

I was watching the Brentford iFollow stream, and the commentators were saying the same - that the ball shouldn’t have gone back to Henderson as Brentford had the ball. Still no idea what they were talking about.Something else I've just remembered from that video. What the fuck were they moaning about when the ball popped and McGoldrick picked it up? They seemed to think they should have the ball back, though they didn't have it in the first place.

You could say that he swiped at the ball and therefore that's a different passage of play but if that's the case, GKs could just flick it up into their hands from their feet?
I thought they were asking for a booking for deliberate handball?

Didn't Hendo head it away after the slice?Basham played the ball back to Henderson when he sliced it. He then parried it out with his hands, should that be an indirect free kick? You can't touch a back pass with your hands.
