With Norwood being on a knife edge suspension wise I think he ought to seek out a booking, ideally late in the second half, that way he misses the home games to Rotherham and Brentford and is available for the Leeds game and the run in. I remember Michael Brown doing this away to stoke in the Warnock era, I can't remember what game that he needed to play in, but he ran about like a maniac but the referee wasn't interested until the last 5 minutes

Of course, the possibility remains that he goes the rest of the season without getting that dreaded booking?

I think our management have made us much more hard nosed this season compared to last. Our midfielders don’t hesitate to commit a foul to curtail opponents from breaking clear, and bookings come with that territory. So I reckon Norwood will very likely be booked in the derby game, deliberately or otherwise.

It’s not Corinthian in spirit but I think it’s a clear change and one we’ve benefited from.

Makes a great deal of sense JD. And far from not following the spirit of the game, we're learning to adjust to the demands of a business that is robust and unforgiving.

You're probably right, Norwood will get booked. Let's hope it's during a game when our fate has been decided.

Bookings are wiped clean after either 36 or 38 games. I’m sure someone will tell us which is correct

Just put a pound on Norwood getting a booking, at 3 to 1 seems like free money to me

I'm pretty sure Fleck did something similar last season (or the season before?) by seeking and getting a booking.

It is 37 games that's the cutoff for 10 bookings, so he has three games left to avoid a booking.

He'll probably pick one up in normal play anyway, always best to avoid intentional fouls in case the ref gives a red instead.

I cannot for the life of me find this option on sky bet. I'm fancying a Hutchinson, Norwood to be carded, Sharp to score, Blades win.

Go on bet365 or Paddy Power and it’s in the same game multi option when you click on the game.

If he doesn't get booked then I suggest we bring Coutts in for him against Rotherham.

Then he'll only have to survive Brentford, if selected, to avoid missing the massihuge Leeds game.

He did 7 on the trot without a booking earlier in the season, he should be capable of getting through another 3.
