i dont know whether its my minor dyslexia. but i dont really why this thread is such a big deal. surely their are bigger things to be angry about. than how dare someone capitalise the D
You’re right of course but the other derby threads have covered most things and you can’t deny this is an interesting new angle. It’s also a warm up to something i’m genuinely annoyed about, our match day ticket pricing and category system. But that’s gonna be big so saving it for another thread.

Way too harsh, i’m probably the coolest guy you’ve never met, I just happen to be a bit OCD about grammar. And i’ve had a drink...

Sorry, I know this is pedantic but it’s really annoying me now.

People who crap on about grammar, but then go on and make school boy errors. It's capital I for I'm.

I know this is pedantic but it’s really annoying me now, but what is OCD?

Anybody worried about spelling and grammar really should steer well clear of forums.

Sorry, I know this is pedantic but it’s really annoying me now. A match between local rivals is a derby match. A Derby match is a match against Derby County.

NO!

As every football pedant in the country knows, a “Derby Match” is a match against “Frank Lampard’s Derby County”.

Boils. My. Piss.

Should there be a comma after “pedantic”?

I couldn’t read any further and actually vomited

Tell my iPhone. I can’t be arsed to scroll back and change it. I am aware of the grammatical error.

Although a game against Derby County is now ‘Frank Lampard’s Derby County’. So it’s swings and roundabouts really.

Imagine if it was a Derby match.

You'd have to be pretty intricate to engrave Derby County Football Club onto something you could light your fire with. As far as customised memorabilia go, I'm not sure they'd sell that well either.

Correction:
It’s Frank Lampards Derby County.

What's the Epsom derby then , I'm confused. Is it a derby or a derby or the derby.
