I can't find John Pemberton on it either.

If Whitehouse isn't on it then that's quite disgraceful when you look at some of the names that had a handful of games and are on.

Out of Interest is Blackwell's full name on there 'Kevin Blackwell Out'?

If Whitehouse has been missed then they should recall the lot! A true fuzzy haired legend

Looking at it, I'd say that it's made from massive swathes of cloth with the players' names on - I've got no Jags on mine, but I've got that prize buffoon Blackwell twice. I'd imagine that no two shirts are the same.

Bit wank, but hey - this is half-arsed United we're talking about.

I took my vouchers in to the club shop ages ago but wasn't given anything back ,can I still get my shirts ?

Anyone in the know ?

You had to give half the voucher back saying the size you wanted, but keep the other part which is required to collect the shirt. Did you keep the bit they told you to or hand the whole thing in?

Have you any idea how much it would cost to recreate a perfect pattern of all the names? How much wastage there'd be? I'm just glad they've used Helvetica and not Arial. ;)

None at all. But once again they've promised something they can't deliver - the original description was 'the name of every player to play for the Blades stitched into the fabric'.

No, and no!

They should have used Comic Sans ;)

More fool you for believing every name was going to be "stitched" into the fabric!! :D:D

Whitehouses name is missing. He is none too happy about that.

He's perhaps the person least deserving of being missed off! A local lad, a blade, a one club man who turned down big moves and who's career was ended well before it's time. Disgraceful!

So then, what is the most common surname of all the Blades players? Is it Shaw?

I got a medium - I think two of me could fit in it!!
I've found Robson on mine too

It's bloody disgraceful that Fat Terry is there and Dane Whitehouse isn't. One is a true Blade, the other if cut would bleed gravy.

Tony Curry isn't on it either, neither is Lee Baxter.

Someone mentioned that someones name is on there twice. I think you'll find that every name is on there twice, more than twice actually. It lists all the names then goes back to the start again so each name is on there about 6 times.

I'm going to email the club to find out why names are missing, can anyone give me an email address to send it to please?

Write a personal letter to McCabe and ask him why his 2 kids are on yet no currie or whitehouse.

The advice I got from the shop was that if you had lost your voucher, go to the ticket office and they'll be happy to replace it if you show them your season ticket. Took about 10 minutes from the shop to the ticket office and back again on Saturday to get the shirt - very helpful they were.

Doesn't that make for a rather easily-exploitable loop-hole?

only until the end of November....
Best be quick, chaps! Go and claim your shirt with your stub and run straight over to the ticket office (with the superstore bag stuffed up your jumper) and flash your season ticket so you can grab another!! :D:D

It is a bit odd. I think we were originally told to get the voucher in before the start of August, yet the part of the voucher you have has no reference number on and could be anyone's. They also don't ask for you name, or your season ticket number, so they have absolutely no record of who has claimed their shirt.

If anyone forgot to send in their voucher, there shouldn't be any problem collecting the shirt if you have the original voucher - simply tear off the piece you need to keep and get on down to the shop.

Still haven't found Pembo, Roger Nilsen, or Dane Whitehouse. I have found Brian Launders (twice), Iffy Onuora, Dimitri Markos (twice), and 'Chris' Benoit Croissant.

Boooooooooooooooooooooo! ;-)

By twice, do you mean its on there twice next to each other?

Because I think you'll find, as I've said, that every name on the shirt is on there more than twice!!

EDIT - I can't see Alan Kelly on mine.
