Even SYP might notice that and would certainly make sure the group got there late again.Meet in town. Big group. March to Swillsboro en masse. Sing all the way.
I try to avoid all forms of public transport unless there is a class systemit will be quicker to walk, avoid the Tram if going to the game, we all know why!!

Book a taxi to drop you near.
Why cant we all meet in the pub on Hillsborough corner soon as it opens???![]()
You’re probably right about threads being monitored so maybe the best thing to do is keep your plans to yourself. This thread will start to cause problems for SYP lurkers on this forum trying to find out what we are all doing before the match and how we intend to get to the game. I propose we give out coded messages from now on to avoid detection.
I intend to commence drinking on Monday in the pub of the one eyed sailor. Continuing the nautical theme I may move onto the pub with a similar name to Boat. My transport arrangements will either be by hackney carriage or alternatively by hailing a passing omni.![]()
I heard the pigs did it in about ten minutes when Chelsea chased them from Hillsborough to town. It’s an hours walk from town. Walk it.
Back in the day, you could get a train from Midland Station to Wadsley Bridge, which was in later years only opened for football matches. That would have been helpful today, as it would have provided an alternative to the tram for the police to use as a holding cell and delay law abiding citizens from attending a football match.
