This exactly,

A Leeds fan assaulted Chris Kirkland on the pitch, and still they get the full away end.
If one of our fans had done that SAG would be pushing for a complete away fan ban.

Would love to know why the allocation has been cut, despite no incidents.

SAG, SYP and SWFC, I suspect, are all terrified of the consequences of another incident at Hillsborough - except of course if it could be directly attributed to bad behaviour of fans.

They didn't release lower West Stand tickets to their fans until ten days before the Bouncing Day game. And only after they said the Kop and North had sold out and South tickets were limited. Something which doesn't appear to have happened yet.

The SAG reasoning could be correct, but has anyone actually come out and said this?

You've been asked questions by others as well. Shall we all have a meet up so you can tell us in private what your employer won't cover on its pages. You're more than happy to put people straight when theysuggest things like transfer fees etc. How come your modus operandi only works one way?

If you're unable to defend the indefensible fair enough but why bring in irrelevancies as a reply?

Your newspapers reluctance to deal with issues local people find important doesn't make me a troll. Grass verges excepted of course. Were you a troll when casting doubt on others journalistic endeavours without having a single clue about the facts?

What’s the issue with revealing actual transfer fees exactly?

Hillsboro on Monday will be 4 to 5000 short of capacity of 34k by the looks of it

After the trouble at that game it won't be repeated, it will merely be used as an argument to reinforce SYP/SAG's position. Maybe it was set up that way?

Surely it’s safe or it isn’t to put people in there. Why would it depend on how many other tickets they’ve sold?

It can’t suddenly just become safe because they’ve nowhere else to put people. It’s all nonsense.

Always made me wonder why often we’ll have a set of home fixtures.
We’ll give Reading 2,231 tickets, Ipswich 2,190, Rotherham 2,240, Villa 2,110, Forest 2,290.

Why does the away allocation figure keep changing by small amounts for every single match with no pattern or logic?
Why do we have so much netting all over the place, with front rows of the Bramall Lane tier and Bramall Lane upper tier never sold?

The whole thing is shrouded in mystery.

Think the only real answer I can think of for the slight change in allocations could be something to do with how many have been set aside for players and staff family and friends. But saying that not sure how that works or how they get to request them so who knows but it would make logical sense I suppose.

What they don’t seem to understand and it’s been stated what seems like a gazzilion amount of times is that we didn’t give them anymore as we sell them ourselves and give the lower tier to every single team in the league, they can’t sell them and are doing it out of spite as there is no other reason and it should be brought to everyone’s attention in the footballing world in some sort of capacity how damn right stupid it is to leave all those seats in the ground empty when they could be sold 3 times over by us.

Total madness.

Just imagine if and when we expand the South stand and Kop stand, our capacity will be 42K.
We’ll probably give the whole Bramall Lane end + most of the corner stand to away clubs, that’s a 7,000 ticket allocation to away fans.

So McCabe insists we are allocated over 7,000 tickets at Hillsboro instead of the 4,600 they normslly offer. They say they can’t because that would mean their own fans can’t get tickets.

Imagine the local media reaction if there’s space for over 7000 away fans at Bramall Lane but we choose to lower the SW allocation to 4,600 out of spite. You wouldn’t expect an owner to be so unprofessional debilberstely choosing to lose much needed revenue.

If this happened at the Lane I’d be criticising my club, if there’s space, then away fans should always have the tickets.

I know the real reason is that Wednesday fans don’t want a large number of United find making a big noise in their stadium.
So Chansiri is trying to curry favour with his fan base because there’s a risk they could be embarrassed in their own back yard.

But to be honest this type of stuff belongs in the playground.
I don’t like large away followings coming to Bramall Lane as you get situations where they can out sing the home support causing shame and embarrassment but “that’s life” and we do benefit from extra revenue.

If this happened the other way round I’d be criticising McCabe for being childish.
Also I’d be saying “if we can’t sell our own tickets then give some to Wednesday”, as long as it’s safe, of course.

The Saftey Commitee should be professional and consistent making allocation decisions based on facts/ history to ensure safety.

Like most Health & Safety officials and regulators in most industries, they create more problems and expense that far outweighs any good intentions they might have
No sorry, I'm being unfair, they have no good intentions except to their own expansion and their own pockets
