Utter hippetty-hoppotty inmegarage nexttodehouse shite. It will never replace music.

The way we play has changed massively between this year and last, if you can't see that you don't know enough about football. Brooks succeeds in this team just like he did last year pre glandular fever consistently one of our best players at a very young age.
He could play the duffy role, the sharp role very well.
It’s a pointless conversation really as we have no way of knowing how good Brooks would have been if he’d stayed. Equally had he done so what the make up of the team would have looked like without the money we got for him.I’m afraid your enthusiasm exceeds your observation on this one. s4-blade is absolutely right. Brooks was anonymous in most of his games.
Easy tiger. He's coming along well but his end product is far from brooks'.
Well that was tested when he was here. We weren’t.
Chris Wilder hopes that England under-21 midfielder Kieran Dowell could provide the “little bit of magic” that ensures Sheffield United’s bid for a place in the Premier League does not falter.
I assume you see the Madine signing as "vital" because it gives us the option to go long and gerritintbox, eh Pinchy? He’s better than Duffy. I’ve been saying for weeks how vital are Madine and Dowell. The tired old response of “stick to the A team” is now threadbare.
Get Down by Paul Johnson. Released in 99 I used to sing it to the Wednesday bastards at school when the bastards dropped out the premier league.
He didn’t. He was very often a passenger. Dowell is a far better player. There is a sycophantic Bladey mythology surrounding Darling David. Let’s see where he is in a couple of years.
If we had Brooks all season, we'd be top. If we had Dowell all season, we'd be top.
Dowell's a better fit for the Duffy position now than Brooks was last season, but Brooks (drifting right) and McGoldrick (drifting left) behind Sharp would have been outstanding this season.
Hope we do all we can to sign Dowell whether we go up or not, because him on a permanent basis would be the replacement of all replacements for Brooks.
Don't suppose you know how he's thought of at Everton do you?
He's obviously being Sigurðsson, Tom Davies and Bernard in the pecking order but not sure if they see him as one for the future or just another decent youngster.
So........$64,000 question:
Does Dowell play on Monday, or does the "bounce slayer" Duffy start? We should by now know that CW doesn't do sentiment, but could he still think Duffs is the player to sit in the hole v the pigs?

I really don't know how anyone who has watched us play for the past 12 months can say Dowell is a better player than Duffy. He’s better than Duffy. I’ve been saying for weeks how vital are Madine and Dowell. The tired old response of “stick to the A team” is now threadbare.
Duffy didn't start at Hillsborough last time and that worked out well.

Can see Everton changing manager though
Now they are one of two clubs I reckon CW may be tempted to go to if things go tits up with us - the other being Newcastle.

How tits up would it need to go with us, I wonder?
He should have a decent budget in the summer to build and reshape the squad no matter what, thanks to Jugears and Brooks (but hopefully not JOC or Fleck).

Nah Everton have moved into the 'fashionable foreign manager, no better than previous English managers' market
it's an interesting topic.
Say we go up....he gets 20/30m to spend (not exactly megabucks, but I think this is realistic), who do we actually replace?
We need two strikers and a keeper. Another combatative MC and another LWB?

Peter Reid it is then.Yep, fair comment - but if the present incumbent goes tits up - the scousers may want someone who is more like themselves and not some fancy dan foreign idiot, Leicester got caught in that bubble - word from the bookies they want Brendan Rodgers who is more of a British style manager.
