Completely revolutionised our transition game. When he carries the ball from the edge of our box to the opponents box, that's the difference he's brought. He's good with the ball in tight spaces too. Stellar signing.

I love how he doesn’t always move the ball out wide - a few times today when things opened up he’d take a cute touch for someone to run into from a central position, like with Johnson and Madine’s efforts. He thinks outside the box and I like that.

Looks after the ball well, runs all day and is a terrific footballer who’s looking more and more like Duffy’s successor.

For me MOTM shouldve been Enda but we can give it Kieran since he won us the game in a generally outstanding display.

Top marks - would move heaven and earth to sign him in the summer.

Unfortunately Everton desperately need a player of Dowell’s class. Whereas Woodburn isn’t needed at Liverpool and from what I’ve seen..............will never been needed.
We might have stood a chance of signing Dowell if he played for Liverpool

I said he was the best possible Duffy competition we could sign.

He's emphatically proving it.

He's not been playing proper competitive games this season but looked capable of contributing immediately. It was obvious from the Norwich game he'd have a big impact. He offers something different, and something as close to Brooks as we could wish for, which is satisfying, even if he's only a loan.

If we're to go up then he, like Madine, will have played a truly decisive part in it.

We didn't fuck about in January, we did what was needed to bring in quality and it's paying off.

The way we play has changed massively between this year and last, if you can't see that you don't know enough about football. Brooks succeeds in this team just like he did last year pre glandular fever consistently one of our best players at a very young age.

He could play the duffy role, the sharp role very well.

I was singing his praises last night. Lovely player to watch. Very positive and takes any opportunity to carry the ball forward. As soon as he’s afforded any space he picks his head up and attacks the space. When he needs to he offloads the ball into really good areas. Clever player.

If we can get ourselves promoted he would be on my shopping list for sure. I would be happy for United to pay good money for him as well. Definitely one that can keep improving and play at the next level.

He's been an excellent addition. I was a bit worried when we signed him as Woodburn had been a flop and I really didn't want that to be the case with Dowell.

He has already proven his worth and was exactly that extra option we were crying out for, to take the pressure off Duffy. Would love us to sign him if we go up.

He’s better than Duffy. I’ve been saying for weeks how vital are Madine and Dowell. The tired old response of “stick to the A team” is now threadbare.
