Fair play to Darren Moore after though with his interview. Took nothing away from us or the result. Refreshing after hearing the shit from the likes of Pullis recently.

I want to like him more than his cheating bastards will allow me to. Great to watch but a dirty handball when it looked like he had a chance of getting his head to it anyway, and that fucking ridiculous attempt at turning and charging into Stearman in hopes of a penalty.

They were very lucky Gibbs didn't see red for that ankle breaker studs on Freeman.

Actually the league should actually retro ban him as no discipline was given by the ref.

Other than that they didn't score a goal first time that has happened to them at home this season.
Excellent game for the players who stood in for O'Connell ,Baldock, Egan and Bash looking on from the bench.

Very snidey from Gayle the cheating twat
He runs straight into Stearman and hangs his leg around Stearmans leg and goes down

You have to wonder why he was making that run in the first place, he wasn't chasing after the ball, he wasn't making a run to try to receive the ball, so what the fuck was he doing other than trying to cheat

I suppose it was too much to expect Gayle to change his ways. After all, it's not as if it's the first time he's been suspended for diving and yet he still comes back and immediately starts falling about as if he's playing in carpet slippers.

Not the first time we've seen Rodriguez trying to con a goal with his hand, either.

Loathesome team.
In fairness to Rodriguez he immediately (I think before the whistle) held his hands up (!) to say the ball went in off his hand.

To be fair, I thought Rodriguez owned up even before the ref gave the free kick. May be wrong but that’s how I saw it

Thank God my grandad moved to Sheffield around 1900 or I'd be supporting either them or Walsall, I think it would have been Walsall. What was it none of our players would get in their team ? Have it.

You may well be right OldBlade...I jeard he has a Whole Lotta Love for Wolverhampton.
To be honest I just Googled famous people from West Brom. The drummer from Judas Priest and Phill Lynott (always thought he was born in Ireland) were born in West Bromwich. Something about the Black Country and rock music.
Must be where I get the liking of rock from, ancestors come from the Walsall, West Brom area

Phil Lynott was brought up in Ireland and spoke with an Irish accent (although God knows there have been enough people down the years who affect a fake Oirish accent...) but yeah, born in West Bromwich.

I believe Robert Plant is from West Bromwich, but supports Wolves.

I was sure he was a Kidderminster Harriers fan, recall seeing him interviewed on TV when Kidderminster had a cup run. Maybe Wolves is his second team, can understand why he'd turn his back on the classless Baggies even if he did have the misfortune to be born there.

Dear Wankers from near Walsall who lick pig bums and come on here to check us out,

Very few of us thought we'd win but thought we could. The arrogance of your comments about pur side and club were wednesdayesque and show how very little you know about football in general, and about your rivals in the current promotion race. It's a shame because you're a fairly well supported club with a promising young manager who Will hopefully be successful away from you and Wednesday.

During today's game, those players we have (who, based on your comments, would not get anywhere near your team) gave your boys a lesson based on quality and desire which your superstars couldn't cope with.

Bottom line is........YOU ARROGANT FUCKTARDS GOT WELL BEATEN SO SUCK IT UP AND BOW TO A MORE SUPERIOR SIDE / CLUB / MANAGER / SET OF SUPPORTERS YOU WEDNESDAY LOVING WANKERS.

I'm now offto enjoy

Yer' d have been a baggie

Birmingham is bigger than Sheffield and Rotherham is bigger than West Bromwich. Do Brummie and Villa fans refer to West Bromwich as

"Toytown"?

Apart from the obvious delight in the result , I am really pleased that cheating little Oik Dwight Gayle didn't get a sniff . I hate him with a passion , always have. With his bland expressionless face, he always reminds me of that kid who played the banjo in "Deliverence" !!

Could be worse though, he could have learned to speak in West Bromwich and sounded like a right dickhead

If we're the division's overachievers, they are very much the division's underachievers. Their fans talk with a sense of entitlement but the matter of fact is that they ought to be higher, given the resources at their disposal.

And for us? I bloody love our squad. We're going away to a former premier League club, with several second choice players starting and yet you still have a hope, a belief that we'll compete. It's truly fantastic. We have two second choice centre halves (one makeshift from LB), a second choice RB, LB and AM and we're still completely playing our usual passing, possession game. It's not about us being cocky, it's about having belief in our squad. We then weathered their possession in the second half. There's a big difference between the belief we have in our squad and the expectation they have of theirs. Then you look at our bench and we have Basham, Hogan, Duffy, Coutts - I love our squad and the character they all being, individually and collectively, and now we have more depth than last season too.

Oh and two more observations:
They look dodgy playing out from the back.
Do we technically now have two overlapping right centre backs?!

:-)

UTB

Two of my mates are baggies and they were fearing playing us tonight, that's as close as I get to having a pig mate :D

The battle of Bramall Lane was a farce and did us little credit but they still came out of the game with a victory, so I don't get their beef with us.
