Question for any keepers out there, someone posted last night - re the second goal - that keepers shouldn't parry or push a shot they can't hold wide, but centrally. Is that correct?
Generally you'd want to push it wide away from the danger zone.
Keepers have apparently been encouraged to parry more in recent times due to more movement on the balls.
I thought Hendo could have held on to the shot but if he'd tried and failed, and they'd scored, he'd have been criticised even more.
My concern over him was more for the first. Imho a keeper has to come and clear the lot out for those. I honestly felt, and still do, that he neshed it.
