I sometimes think there's something rather sinister about posters who go back and look for an old post from someone to try and prove a point. I think I must have been very annoyed or slightly pissed when I posted that. I'm delighted to be wrong about Henderson, Egan and especially W*dnesday! :D

Maybe I should go back and get that post from a few weeks ago when just about everyone on here was saying the auto's had gone? :tumbleweed:

Maybe not. We all get it wrong sometimes. And few people go back searching for a post from someone when they get it right.;)

Sinister? Bit dramatic CB.

The search option provides much of the fun on here :)

Didn't realise you'd made a point. Still wanting to know if shagging in a shower is shit mattbianco1

United let Prem quality players such as Britton and Calvert Lewin, and Della's, go for virtually nowt.

Everyone has at least one I reckon which goes against the tide, not looking for a debate about the issues themselves but interested what people come up with.

I'll start:

I think Kevin Blackwell was an excellent manager for us

That'll take some beating! :D

The academy bleeds us dry and gives us no players, they are just sold.

We've had our centre-halves overlapping our wing-backs for almost two seasons. What more do you want?!

Goalie up for every corner? 2-3-5 formation?

I'd keep three strikers up the field on their corners to occupy four defenders.

Sold for money? How’s it bleed the club dry, then?

Recon every £ a sale raises costs us a £ to get the player to the point where we can sell them.

Every player we can sell needs two teams of kids around them that can't be sold just to make up a practice game +all the coaches involved in bringing them on.

All that fucking about just so they can play for someone else.

That’s football though isn’t it? Dozens of teams have done the same so players can play for United today.

The cost of running the academy is less than the value of academy player sales: it makes money.

Whether that's the best use of the academy is up for debate, but the issue of the academy "costing" us isn't.

Hanson would have headed that ball down just as good as Madine

Jamal Blackman is a run-of-the-mill goalkeeper.
And FMBlade1 have a 'like' for easily the best thread this summer.

This comment could probably be moved to the 'things we all agree on about Sheff United', now!

Wednesday's home support is better than ours in Sheffield derbies.

Yes they got right behind them second half and it makes the point gained more hard won than it looks on paper.last prem promotion season Bramall lane was rocking and we need that again and how for these last games.

Last night was the worst atmosphere in the away end in a sheff derby at hillsboro since ive been going to em.. and ive not missed one for years!

I know it was a bit of a non event game but having to get a 'sing up shoreham' going is shocking!

Something certainly not right going off with the first batch of tickets being sold last night, know a few and was talking to some last night who hadnt been for years or even had a season ticket but had been offered tickets via corporate/club

I really wish we’d taken the Checkatrade Trophy seriously. And Martin Peters should have been given longer as manager.
