Yes to be convinced by Dowell, but this is the sort of game I'd be happy to see him starting. He strikes me as a bit of a luxury player who doesn't contribute much defensively, but I expect us to have the majority of the posession today against a team with men behind the ball, and Dowell may be able to offer the key to unlocking their defence. That said, given that Duffy was rested against Norwich I expect he'll start today.

Bolton as mentioned on the view thread this should be easy because they on terrible form & i expect they will get relegated along Ipswich & Reading, nothing guaranteed espically after last yr. that shouldve been easy we played dreadfully. then looking forward with 2 of next 3 home games in bottom 3. this where we need to getting 3pts against "easier opposition"

Looking a bit flat tbh. Bolton have seen more of the ball than I expected. Just haven’t dictated play so far. I don’t think that’s a case of Bolton frustrating us either, we’ve just been very sloppy on the ball.
