I can get there from Kent for £40 on the train, so ticket at £35.. how much is a pint there? Usually that’s the real expense and I like to make sure I spend more on ticket and travel than ale so any more than £4 a pint and I’m out...

I believe Northern are still taking industrial action on Saturday's so check rail availability carefully.

You lot from sheffield way who are taking train might be better gettin train to london, then london liverpool st to norwich if no trains from peterbro to norwich? Long way around but avoids those shite replacement buses.

One of the few away games I’ll get to this year and a big game. If we win the next 2 or win, draw they’ll sell pretty quickly I would have thought.

Price is high but apparently we charged them £32 ?

You'll be fine, aren't many places here that go above 4 quid a pint.

I'm not entirely sure if there's a designated away fans pub anymore so your best bet would likely be the Coach and Horses, 5 min walk from the train station with decent ales at decent prices

I'd be more worried that he intends to drink about 18/19 pints!

Anyone know how many tickets are left? I have to wait until Friday to get mine cos the lad is just under the pts needed, I could get mine now but want to sit with him obvs! Website says Limited but when it stated that for the Brentford away game I called up and was told there were loads left!

I called today cos I'm in the same predicament except only have to wait 'til Thursday. They'd sold just over a thousand so she reckoned it should be okay for Thursday. Assume that'll be the same for Friday, but just make sure you call early in the day.

There are flights from Manchester to Norwich. Another way to avoid those replacement buses.

KLM via Amsterdam, 5.55am departure, arrive Norwich 9am, 192 quid (one way)

I bet they could fill a charter from Donny (if it was reasonably priced) to places like Swansea, Bournemouth, Southampton and Bristol. If every seat was sold, might it be viable for under 100 quid return?

Didn't United sign some kind of agreement with Doncaster airport? I remember seeing a picture of Wilder in front of a jet. Might be a good bit of synergy. Blades Airlines.

All for the love of the blades. I totalled it up earlier because I was just curious, The next 2 matches i worked out it was 766 miles me and the missus will be travelling in the space of a week to see the blades (Swansea+Norwich).

Going to make a night of it in Swansea me my missus and spongebobblade and his missus are all going down and stopping the night, hopefully having a couple of celebration drinks after we beat Swansea

3hr 5mins from Manchester to Norwich? Could jog there quicker.

I think it was our "official airport partner" in Wilder's first season. (the pigs had Leeds-Bradford as theirs)

I remember when Wednesday played in Cardiff a couple of seasons back the entire team flew there and they paid for it by fleecing fans big time to travel with their heroes on the plane. I think the package was about 500 quid, and I seem to recall they lost.

Biggey - if the four of you fancy a curry while in Swansea, I can recommend The Anarkali on St Helens Road. I ate there a couple of times a few years ago while working in the city and the food was very good. In the Top 5 Indian Restaurants in Wales apparently.

I paid £4.05 last season

Am I correct when I mention a pub called ‘Prince of Wales’? Could swear blind I was in there last season until some mongol decided to set off a smoke grenade. There wasn’t an ‘away fans pub’ per se, we just weren’t allowed in one over the bridge for some reason

That's actually not a bad suggestion y'know. Football special chartered flights. Problem would be stopping half way to let folks out for a piss and a smoke I suppose?

Thanks pal we will keep that in mind. We all like a good curry so could be a possibility.
