The most preposterous norkage I’ve ever seen was in The Pointing Dog. The proud owner’s boyfriend was equally ridiculous in his torn designer vest and spray-on tan. And they’d even brought their chihuahua along to sit on the table.

A corner of Sheffield that will be forever Essex.
Probably sex workers.

It’s not really “between” Si.

Not been to Nonnas since I found a could write my name with my finger in the grease around the edge of my bowl of pasta. Sent it back, finished the wine, paid for just that and left.

Think that Irish bloke from Robins Nest did the washing up.
Wine?

Peroni not good enough for you. Ya posh bastard.

Thanks for the memory!
Remember watching that shit after coming in from riding my Raleigh grifter!

That was our table until he took it with his mille graze this and prego that the forrin twat.

Thanks Snowman for helping to out that fraud Sean Thornton

I knew the wine reference marked him out as a dilettante. The whole 'lad off the Park Hill' is obviously an affectation from an old Etonian who drew SUFC in the 'Pretend to be a peasant' draw that they have. To give him his due, he's well researched the history of Park Hill / Hyde Park, but I guess since they became listed buildings there is loads of stuff on line for him to crib from.

His feigned dislike of the Pointing Dog is intended to make him look like a man of the people, but that is obviously a well designed conceit.

I think we can basically ignore all his so-called 'facts' and stuff about the accounts. Clearly the spend-sum-muneh brigade have the whiphand now and EVERYTHING he has have ever said is wrong.

Let's ignore the receptionists in the Business Centre and listen to the many Chinese students in the South Stand.*

* Apologies for anyone who has just finished work and comes to this post sober. Having said that, it's Freedee neet and WTF are you doing you drink-shy twats?

Ran this through spellchecker and have decided this is Snowman wording. Clearly you’ve paid him like you did those non English speaking kids at boarding school. Or as Dad and I called it, East Hill. Hopefully in cold hard cash, not like the Father Fiddler incident.

As for your scurrilous accusation, here’s a photo of of me with a chum waiting for the Parkway Hotel to open with some Earl George Oiks who lived on Bard Street.

Other than that, Topper doffed Council....

The tall posh boy died a year after the photo was taken (1937, I think), the other posh boy died in the 1950s. The three scruffy boys were still alive in the 1990s. A Sunday magazine interviewed each of the scruffy boys 50ish years later and one of them recalled that in the next day when the above photo was published in a newspaper, his dad said that he should have tried begging some money from the posh boys

And once the Lord allowed Sheffield to produce Wards and let it be known it was a true Blades bitter.. and then ‘twas taken away and let the world know the Lords wrath as Sheffield Best was forever removed from the view of the Lane.... for every red sky shall remind the flock of what they have lost and the ignorance of man..

Amen..
