And I was one of them but we are where we are, we complain at what is in front of us at the time, it's a BladeyMcBlade thing. The club can't synchronise getting it right on the field and off the field. To be a successful club in this mad money fuelled football environment both have to work together.

The current situation is limiting Wilders options to operate hence the signing of Madine. The risk is while the two owners beat each other with financial handbags in court Wilder might walk to the next PL vacancy.

Maybe wilder felt messed around in the summer as he would provide a similar option to Madine imo.

Why the delay in announcing it

I think we've got a double announcement to make (hope).

You know what I can't get my head round with this deal is that at this time last year every Blade who uses this forum were pissing themselves laughing at Cardiff City and Colin especially and wondering just how the fuck Bolton (who wanted rid anyway after more trouble in a pub involving Madine) had convinced them to pay £6m for Gary fuckin Madine ?

I think people were laughing and shocked at the price that they paid. At the time it looked to be a great move for them, however,it didn't turn out. I'd say £2.5m to £4m is about Madine's pricetag in the current market.

The worrying thing for me is Warnock - he said "financially" it's a great bit of business for them. We know his wages are high, so this either suggests that we are paying a big chunk of them, OR if it is permanent - they've recouped a big chunk of their transfer fee.

It's a good deal for Cardiff as if they stay up they will not want him as they have bigger irons in the fire .If they go down and we don't go up he will go back as he is a useful player in the championship .The only downer for them is if we go up we perhaps have a deal to buy ,but then of icourse they would get a transfer fee to cover there original costs.

Cool beans! You could have just said "no, I can't be bothered" and accept you made a baseless accusation and it was just a honest error. But no, you went for the doubling down.
If I'd suggested that any Blade should fuck off because they don't want us to sign Madine you would have found the post, I mean I can't have made more than 10 posts on the subject.
I've never played the "bigger Blade" as I think it's always a load of old bollocks, and it would have been a particularly strange comment from me seeing as I don't particularly want him to sign either.

The chairman (I know for certain) is willing to pay higher wages than most on here would believe for a short term loan. He looks at the overall cost of a deal, not necessarily the constituent parts.
