Wilder is the man who has taken us from being a bang average League One side, and won that league, and we have thrived in the Championship, to the point where we aren’t far from having a side good enough to win promotion.

If Wilder wants Madine playing for the club then we should trust his judgement

If Wilder doesn’t want the distraction of the FA Cup, and want his first team players getting knacked in a cup game then we should trust that,

Some of the petulant, child like feet stamping from some our supporters over the last few days has been infantile at best. The club is in rude health when it comes down to footballing matters, and although we have had in the past plenty of reasons to be disgruntled, now is not the time.

So I suggest people pack it in with the feet stamping, tantrums and grandstanding, and take a look back to where was 3 years ago, and begin appreciating what Wilder has done for us, and get behind him and the side.

I'm what you'd call a clapper and usually I agree with posts like this. I'll also say that I'm not that bothered about the Madine signing and I think it would be a mistake to generalise too much from today's result.

But it was shocking today and people have every right to be very, very critical of the team.

Oh pack it in. This weekend we have signed public enemy no.1 and lost to Barnet.

(And I've come to terms with signing Madine and think he would have made a difference today)

I’ve got absolute no problem with signing Madine, as long as he behaves himself and makes a positive contribution on the pitch and if he does that Wilder deserves credit for making a huge call.

I’d have been a lot more pissed off if we had lost someone like John Fleck for the rest of the season to a broken leg,

How many players did we lose to broken legs today?

Players generally have to put themselves about to risk breaking a leg/injury. I would hazard a guess they’re was more chance of that happening in training this week than today

Reading Wilder’s comments I don’t think it’s us you want to have a go at regarding temper tantrums. I know those players played shit today but he’s well on his way to losing a fair bit of respect with some of those comments directed at them. It can’t help matters is all I’m saying.

Doesn't matter if Wilder has won us the Champions League.

There's absolutely no excuse for losing to non league opposition at home.

Indeed - I find it incredible that some of our fans can't see the disappointment that some of us feel - it's not losing that counts, it's HOW you lose that matters.

Today was an embarrassment to the players on the field and the club.

Well done Barnet for sticking it up us - you deserved it.

How would you feel if we had lost a first teamer to a broken leg today?

Gutted and more than gutted than I feel now.

But you don't wrap players up in cotton wool for fear of them breaking legs.

Probably a good idea to keep them off the training pitch, off slippy surfaces and away from hot tea.

I only saw one tackle today that looked nawty. Their man was booked for it but could have seen red personally speaking. None of ours put tackles in. Nobody would have broken sweat today ne’er mind a leg.

I understand your point but it’s irrelevant.

How ridiculous is that sentance? Maybe a meteor from space might have slammed into Norwood? Or maybe aliens may have abducted McGoldrick.
Are meteors and aliens the only way to break your legs
I've heard you can trip over your own chin if you're not careful

Nothing to do with fitness levels this game if the players are still knackered 6 days after a game against an non league side, which I must add would have been no where near the tempo of a championship game if he had played half a decent side then they don’t deserve anywhere near the first team. I respect the fact that injuries and suspensions play a part in moving forward, but today’s line up seems a huge contradiction to the “all or nothing” “risk and reward” football we as blades are proud to support. They've just played 3 in a week and got nine points and goals and conceded one goal ,they deserved a rest

OK, so we lost at home to Barnet. Crap performance and an embarrassing result, BUT...

1. Did we lose any ground on Leeds or Norwich. NO!

2. Did the likes of WBA, FLDC, Boro' etc close the gap on 3rd. NO!

3. Who fancies a trip to Carrow Road on 4th Round day? ME!

In the words of St. Delia of Norwich "Let's be 'aving yer!"

Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like most teams in the premiership and championship do just that.
