I know mate I never have before but really dislike Madine and everything he brings with this transfer to our seemingly “united” club at the min

He’s Guaranteed to get booed by certain fans and will cause in-house fighting / arguing between us but Hope I’m wrong

I’m not over-reacting just think Madines a complete prick and I’m surprised Wilder who puts enthuses on a players character prior to a transfer thinks this is a good move

In Wilder we trust - but personally just really don’t like this 1
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!

Ah, now you are judging me as well.

So, you think this is fine?

"Madine has been convicted of several assaults. In November 2010 he was found guilty of causing actual bodily harm after attacking a man in a pub and sentenced to community service involving 250 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £1,500 compensation to his victim and £1,800 in costs.[70] In October 2013 he was jailed for 18 months after being found guilty of causing actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm in two separate attacks.[71] Madine was released from jail on 20 February 2014 after serving 5 months of his 18-month sentence."

People get in fights. People make mistakes. Some people like Madine are nasty evil cunts.

I last hit someone when I was 11. I've certainly not hospitalised anyone. If you think that's normal then it says volumes about the kind of person you are.

It’s not acceptable behaviour however I have mates who have been in fights on nights out. Should I have immediately cut all ties with them?

1. I was answering to someone who stated fighting was normal
2. Does he have this kind of criminal record?

No I don’t think it’s fine what he did. But I also don’t think it’s fine to judge someone you don’t even know for something they did over 8 years ago and served their time for it. He made a mistake when he was younger, get over it.

erhh i'm not able to attend the qpr game, so i'm not going to see what the reaction is going to be.
He is a nasty man from what I've read about him, shame we are signing players like him.
but whatever, guess us has fans need to "grow up" and get over any problems we have with him.....

Could you please show me where I said fighting was normal? No I do not have ‘this kind of criminal record’. In fact, I don’t have a criminal record at all.

He’s not signed yet. I’m far from happy about it but as i’ve said before IF he’s got the backing of Sharp & rest of players fair enough. I’m fairly sure if he does anything out of order he’ll be gone. Let’s give him a chance on the pitch before we start judging him by what he’s done off it.

Bit late to the party on this.

The ex Wednesday part isn't an issue for me, after all, Clarke is highly regarded by fans.

But it's the off/field antics and potential tension with Sharp that worries me, especially if they play as a front 2.

If the above works out then it could be an astute signing by Wilder.

This is exactly what Sharp thinks:

"I had no problem with it. He texted one of the lads who play with me now on the Monday morning - as far as I'm concerned it was done then. But the media did try to make a thing of it and the Bolton fans thought they'd sing to me to try and get to me but, obviously, it worked in my favour (as Sharp scored both goals in a 2-0 win for Sheffield United)."

Not that you're not bothering to read anything you disagree with, but 5 years ago. He was also arrested for a fight in a pub in 2017 but got away with it as he's a footballer.

3 separate assaults and I believe from memory there was another one when he was at Wednesday which he got away with.

Lovely bloke. You can invite him round for Sunday lunch. Just don't burn the Yorkshire puddings or he'll knock you out.

No, I don’t have friends with this type of record. But they have criminal records.

Madine’s last conviction was in October 2013, it’s just my opinion but that suggests that he has learned his lesson and was probably a stupid immature young man at the time.

People can change, it’s unfair to label someone a “nasty evil cunt” based on mistakes made more than 5 years ago. We’re talking GBH and ABH, not murder or child abuse.

Just misunderstood.

28000 Views , 29 Pages and rising , not controversial though .

Does expressing mock outrage make people feel better?

If Madine wants to come to our club, with his past, then let's see what Wilder sees in him. Rather then having a wankfest of abuse against someone who wants to pull on our shirt.
why is it mock outrage and why are some people so determined to defend that wanker and slag off fellow blades in his defence?

why don't you get over someone not agreeing with you defending that piece shit?

The fact that this hasn't been confirmed yet may mean Wilder has had second thoughts.

Or rape, at a guess.

He's a nasty piece of shit. The fact you're justifying his behaviour as mistakes is frankly worrying.
