We've got 'fans' who punch fans of other clubs for the same reason on a weekly basis.

Im not condoning what he did, but recent seasons and his changed behaviour show that perhaps he's now a different person.
The only reason he has a changed personality is that he can’t be bothered to drive an hour down the motorway to twat a Swansea fan!!!!

No, I’m telling you how it is. Bladey Blades as usual are telling it as they would like it to be.

I repeat. Existing players are not consulted on recruitment. Just sit down, deflate the hot air and reflect on just how absurd a situation that would be. What if the players don’t agree? What if they agree with each other but not with the manager.

Too many of you have Sunday League mentality about professional football. Not surprising, given it’s your preferrred standard of football.

Dear, oh Bladey dear. Get me away from the lunatics.

go on then, feck off

Given how much time you spend on here you must love their company. Just stating the facts.

So you are saying you don't want us to go up if Madine signed for us and the team was managed by Wilder/captained by Sharp....even if the latter were happy with the signing. ?

Bizarre
If that is what you think you read, I fear for your health.

Did we get this reaction when we signed Marlon King?
No. Our fans love faux outrage for no apparent reason that's the problem.

This is all because he called Billy a fat cunt in a video taken 3/4 years ago. So fucking what? I've seen worse said about him in the shoutbox by some of our 'fans' if he has a bad game

You talk so much shite it's untrue.

Yes I remember saying how negligent we were in not signing Wells, Baldock (fantastic player) and some other useless no-goals fucker now at QPR. The three have scored fewer than Goldy between them. What shite I talked and how loud and repetitive was the shite? I’m embarrassed now. I think I should be a little quieter in future, don’t you?

You can’t state as an absolute fact that no manager has ever consulted with a player or players on a possible transfer. You simply don’t and can’t have that knowledge.

We don't just watch them play football though do we, we actively support a team and its players. It's as if you don't remember what it was like to support a team that was completely disconnected to its fans under Adkins etc. But I suppose it doesn't matter that we think Adkins or Hammond were twats, we only go to watch a ball get kicked.
We are playing good football and are pushing for promotion...the complete opposite was the case under Atkins

Some fans are saying they are going to throw their toys out of the pram not actively support the team,. The only people who will create a disconnect should he sign will be some fans

Don't you trust Wilder on this ? ( if the rumour is true)

In my experience, admittedly German, both sides are correct. One management team, the best I worked under, did discuss possible signings, though not all. One manager, the shittest I have worked under, but the most successful, did not tell players anything about signings. It was definitely, with him, a case of like it or lump it. IMO Wilder places a lot on team spirit. I would assume that that means he would discuss possible signings, especially one like Madine. Just my opinion, Pinchy, don't hit me.
Personally, I don't like Madine and don't want him at SUFC. However, Wilder has proved time and time again, he knows what he is doing. So I will suck it up if he signs him.

And some of our fans have got standards

Did you support Ched.?.....you know..that striker with low morale standards who goes in for sloppy seconds with a drunk girl at a Welsh hotel whilst being engaged ?

Like you I think there must have been more to the assault than that.

The Star is reporting that he was known to be a regular visitor to the Lane during the 2011/2012 season and was good friends with some of the players, doesn't sound like someone that is going to assault a man JUST because he is a Blade.

This is further backed up as another assault in his past was on a Wednesdayite whilst he was supposedly a Wednesday legend.

The Star also report that he has been looking to switch to us ever since he was at Wednesday,

Now I know it's only the Star but I'm actually quite warming to this situation and would love to see a headline -

WEDNESDAY LEGEND ACHIEVES LIFE TIME AMBITION IN MOVE TO BLADES.

That would stir things up nicely over at S6.

As regards the Billy thing, I believe the players sorted it out amicably between themselves at the time.
This is true ,he used to sit just along from me on John St ,cut quite a lonely figure sat watching games on his own. Also seen Billy Sharp ,Stephen Quinn and Alan Quinn doing the same when they weren't at the club. Some players actually love watching football ,I always thought Madine was either completely daft or he really did want to play at the Lane.

Yes I think he us a violent, arrogant thug and a bellend but football fans are that fickle that if he scores a goal they will be cheering him, not as that player, but as someone that has scored for sheffield united. The team comes first

That's not how it works, its a squad game and Madine wold be there to help those 2 ,how many times a season do you play an unchanged 11 with no subs ? Sharp and McGoldrick are playing out of their skins at the moment ,Clarke not so ,so another strong player in their will supplement our attack.

Other than crossing the ball into the box how would expect Madine to work with our passing game?

Trust Wilder on what?

I trust you when you say disconnect will be created, but find it funny how sure you are that Madine will not create a disconnect seeing as a thread with his name has already created a disconnect.

This for me is the biggest issue .Fans are already saying they've lost trust in Wilder or they are going to give Madine that much grief he will go back to Cardiff. I think these comments are ridiculous personally but it's obvious there is going to be a toxic mood whenever he comes on with some fans giving him pelters. If he is a quick success that should soon pass as football but if he's not and we pick up bad results certain fans will pin it on this signing.

Can you see him being a quick success? I can’t. He’s never scored many goals wherever he has been. I can’t see that changing playing for us especially as I see him as back-up to the first team and the times that he had a run of scoring goals he has done so during a decent run of starting matches and playing week in week out. I rate him as a bottom half Championship / top half league 1 striker. Nothing more.

Also, he’s a first ballot hall of fame wanker which makes everything so much worse.

Funny how Wells signing for QPR has coincided with their shoot up the table...
