They really can't stomach the fact that we are a better club and a better team, and in our two seasons back in the Championship, we have been top of the table (on merit), in both seasons, something that, as far as I know, they have never done since coming up from League one.

Start of the new year, we are in third place, the table doesn't lie.....

I was in the Genting Club the other night for a birthday party. Two pigs on the next table were talking to somebody who was obviously from out of town, you'd have thought that they were Champions League winners or something they way they were going on. The out of town bloke obviously hadn't got a clue about all the bullshit that he was being fed.

I eavesdropped for a few minutes before bursting out laughing really loudly and then walking away.

It's a deliberate ploy that they all use to try to impress those that don't know any better, every single one of them is an attention seeking fucking mental case living in a fantasy land with no concept of realism

The only reason there is any interest in Wednesday at all is because they're such a basket case. I'm sure they'd rather be 16th in the league, being ran by a clown, and appointing another new manager because they've been woeful all season again then being 3rd. Definitely.

I'm not bothered whether anyone likes us or not, and I quite like the idea of being unpopular and "under the radar" - a sort of northern Millwall without the racist Cockneyisms. However, I am cheered by fans of other clubs (mainly Barnsley, Rotherham and Leeds) where I work, who in referring to our blue and white "friends", use the words, "deluded", "arrogant", and "crap", in preference to "sleeping giant" or some other such guff. I work with a lifelong Manchester City fan (season ticket holder, went when they were in the 3rd tier), who does have some limited awareness of non-Premier football, and Wendy don't register at all with her (except for opportunities for cricket scores in cup games!).
