Our new striker was probably sat at on the bench today looking at a dodgy internet streams on his phone, picking up tips on how to score as many goals as Billy.

Well I agree that’d make sense, but why wasn’t Kieran Dowell eligible to play today?

I read on here that it was because the window opened on the 2nd, should have known better

Martyn Waghorn banging them in. If only our owners would spunk £10mil plus on one player and risk the financial position of the club. The strikers we have are all capable of finding the back of the net at this level as has been proven. Hopefully Dowell will be that extra creative spark to relive some pressure on Duffy. Sensible business with low long term risk. I’m more than happy not to sign any permenant deals and take a gamble on a few loans after the disasterous window last January. In Tufty we trust UTB
