Walking through Broomhill to the match yesterday a bloke pulled along side us
He asked us directions to BDTBL and offered us a lift “My nephew plays for yous lot’
in a thick scouse accent.
‘Oh Yeah who’s that?’....’Mark Duffy’ he replied.
So after us bigging Duffy up he explained that he’d just been to hillsborough as he does
regularly to visit the commerative thing down there,he said it was disgusting, just a concrete
block and the last time he went it was dirty, full of dead flowers and grotty bits and pieces.
He had got onto the club to get it cleaned up which they did.He said it was a joke compared
to the statue at Anfield to which I replied “I think Wednesday would rather it dissapeard’
Anyway without prompt he then talked about Marks goal at the sty and how proud he was to be a blade
He was disappointed Clough did’nt sign him at Burton but says it turned out to be the best thing that never
happened to him cos he got to come to S.U.F.C.He says the Dowell signing is a bit worrying but I reassured him that if Mark’s on his game he’ll play and make us tick.
‘Tell Duffy we love him’was the last thing we said as we got out of the car ‘I definitely will’ he replied.
Just thought I’d share that with you all.
P.s I nearly fuckin cried when Sharp put in his second yesterday
Gonna have to man up a bit.

Spot on about him making us tick, if he has a good game then so do we.

You nearly cried when the second one went in and I nearly knocked one out then and there... nowt wrong with being passionate

Hmmmm, a strange man pulling up next to you in Broomhill, and asking you for "directions".........
What where you wearing at the time, did it cover your knees??
We're you walking, or stood still, on a straight or a corner??
Do you frequent Broomhill??
How much did you charge?

So many questions.......;):D

He's playing the best football of his career & when he's on song, really makes our side tick. Sublime footballer at times & I'm baffled how nobody has managed to get this quality out of him before.

When he's at his best, he's comfortably premier league quality. I reckon the signing of Dowell will only improve him as he now has genuine competition for his place.

Also that goal at Hillsborough will forever cement his place into Blades folklore. My favourite ever moment of being a Sheffield United fan.

It’s a shame he didn’t see you before he went to the sty. You could have told him it was disgusting and saved him a journey!

Still - good of him to pay his respects.

A stranger in a car with a Scouse accent offers you a lift in Broomhill?..Are you missing a wrist watch by any chance?

Mine too. I know wilder days Clarke doesn’t get enough credit for his two goals, but Duffy stopped the production of the world record attempt of a porno when he stopped 26000 cunts bouncing up and down in 63 seconds. As moments go....

* Not very funny.

** Somebody get's offended.

*** I don't know how but this became hilarious!
I'm not offended I just find it a bit sad that someone posts in here about someone doing them a favour and then it becomes gammon fodder

No surprise there is it? Nigel not wanting to keep on a player with all that creativity and who drives at the opposition scaring the shit out of 'em.

To our benefit then!
