BLUT

It's almost as if 50 on BLUT can sound as loud as 500 at the back of the Kop.

If only someone would try to get some sort of singing section going up there.

One day it will come.. if we manage the Prem, then all hell will break loose. Keep it going Ricky.

Waste of time if you ask me.......

Not read all the pages on this thread. I always sit on the Kop but today, as I had family visiting, we all got tickets together on the BLUT. No doubting that the view is the best in the ground (yeah the Westfield is great too), but I just felt that I was surrounded by "occasional fans" who didn't really seem to know a lot about the squad or who was who etc.

I've nothing against this as if they all enjoy the occasion, they'll hopefully keep coming back and that's a great thing, but personally, I'm looking forward to reverting to my norm next match.

I know what you mean about feeling as though you’re surrounded by ‘occasional fans’. Being on the family stand today I know 99% of them are regulars. I felt out of place just standing up to go for a piss. Is there a rule on there that you must have a bladde like a hot air balloon? Even when we scored I got the impression some of them felt inconvenienced by having to just stand up to celebrate it.

Atmosphere wise - nothing. Dare say I was the loudest. And by my standards I was silent.

Probably where I sit, on the half way line in the South Stand about three quarters of the way up. Atmosphere - zero. View - 10

For me it’s about what you’re after. If you’re after a view then such as where you sit is perfect. If you’re after some atmosphere and getting ‘involved’, then back of the kop.

It is a shame the crowd is so limited at times though. People have taken the piss out of Ricky on here for what he’s tried to do but GLTTL. If it wasn’t for 2 shit refs and us being under the cosh, the kop would have been poor.

Totally agree ! I like the view but would rather have the atmosphere but go with my old man so it’s difficult for me.

When G & H block on the South Stand housed the more raucous individuals it used to be good, but that seemed to end during the League 1 days.

I was in that block for the Leeds league cup game and it’s as close as I’ll ever get to experiencing a terrace, everyone was stood on the stairs, very overcrowded, a health and safety nightmare but great atmosphere

brownie is the man you want to speak to about getting an atmosphere going ,once saw him sat on the back of the kop naked

Not sure if you realise I was being sarcastic. Ricky put the effort in expecting the promised support. Not from old South Stand miseries like me but the ones hooting up about a singing section and then either didn’t show or didn’t stick with it.

You being sarcastic? I’m sorry I didn’t expect that of you.

Sky give out free tickets too. My brothers missus works for sky bet and they can put in for 4 tickets for any EFL home game
