Don't worry, the EFL are "on it".........

While we cannot discuss confidential matters relating to Club finances, we can assure you that as per regulation 16, Clubs must disclose a range of financial information to the EFL and we monitor compliance on an on-going basis.

Well yes, they must disclose a range of financial information and the EFL monitor compliance that it is disclosed. I would imagine that what they might not monitor is the plausibility of the content.

Not that there is anything implausible about D Taxis or any of the Wednesday businesses.

The rumour going round is that Chansiri is going to sell Hillsborough stadium and lease it back at a peppercorn rent. Naming rights, as I understand it, would be watched very closely by the authorities to see if they accord with the realistic market value of naming rights for the stadium. That means with Wednesday's serious FFP problems, that wouldn't be a realistic out; the capital released from selling the naming rights would not ameliorate their problem . Selling and leasing back the stadium could release serious capital, although I've no real idea what the value of Hillsborough is? Of course this could have serious consequences in the future, and cripple them in the same way it did Leeds United, or, more seriously, Coventry City Leeds' rise as come alongside the owner buying back the stadium.

The Patpong Ping Pong Stadium has a nice ring to it.

814CF294-D5E7-4E78-A042-FB02DAEA9C20.jpeg It all sounds very interesting Danny, but it doesn’t matter because They are in their way again! This can’t be right though because they keep telling us that they don’t define their season by being above us!

Agre with AH, last 6 games we have gained 1 more point than them and considerably more over the season. If they think they will catch us any time soon with WBA and Middlesborough away coming up, I seriously doubt it.
My pig of a brother in law says we should be grateful for the Christmas present they have given us in beating Middlesborough

No idea how he’s working it FFP-wise but I’ve heard he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve. They might not go down too well with the fans, though
well the rumour ive heard is that the stadium will be sold to a family member ( possibly his father) there by getting round the ffp issue.
another way would be to build a new plastic stadium say out tankersley way and roll any costs/losses into that thus spunk a load of cash on getting promotion.

Would Blades object to BDTBL being renamed by a sponser who injected multi millions of pounds for CW to spend ?

Not personally. Call it what they want, if still tell our lass I’m going to t’Lane. Makes no odds.

They can do us a lot more favours if they want. Imagine the pigs beating the sides round us and helping us to promotion in the process? I don’t think my ribs could take it. :D

£ 100 a game tickets ?

'Family' all have to chip in.

So when No-Chancer said the club is up for sale he meant the bucket.

I don’t believe either of those options would get round EFL regs. But it probably depends on how aggressive Chancers lawyers are.

I wonder what the Piggy readership think about the local paper hearing things about what’s happening at their club and not reporting it?
Well, unless it's a cash injection of a 100 million, Mourinho being appointed, attendance figures exceeding 50,000 and guaranteed automatic promotion, they'll call it fake news anyway.

Looking at the play offs now, bless.

Only 9 points behind the playoffs now is it impossible we can make that up over the remainder of the season? I think not

Fair play to them today. Definitely did us a favour and they do have a decent record against the best sides. They don't create much and it was just the one shot on target again today but they have been quite clinical all season.

This guy has no shame. He's posted several different rumours of Wilder going and despite the fact he doesn't even fool the most deluded Wednesday fan, he is still at it making himself look a prick. Screenshot_20181226-231933.png

I see HMS Piss the League has set sail again, I fully expect 10,000 to come out of the woodwork after two wins on the bounce 25,000 at the next home game then. Might even be a few more there, whipped up into a bouncing frenzy after reading the annual Boxing day re-run of the 1979 match report in the Sheffield Stir.

It looks like both Forest and Boro are not too happy with their managers.

Be funny if Bruce rocked up there.

Not that Bullen has done anything wrong but he has no record as a transfer market operator.

It’s not surprising their results have improved. Often happens when a manager goes who is unpopular.

It may continue, but I’m not convinced they are capable of doing so. Their results against Preston was not necessarily deserved and Boro are on a downer with Pulis.

It’s not surprising their results have improved. They did when Jos came in IIRC, to similar fanfare (see September/October this season also).

It may continue but I’m not convinced they are capable of doing so.

Players playing because a new manager is imminent, nowt new from shyster players to suddenly pick up thier game, if they appoint bullen on the back of good results which is the cheap option then watch the players revert back to not giving a shit..

I think they’re in danger of making another really shit appointment either way they go..

Bruce will bankrupt them and walk out.
Bullen will take them down next season..

If they get the right man for the position and state they’re in at the minute there’s a clear out of all the bad eggs required, and a full squad rebuild, with us in the same league and outperforming them, that “right guy” wouldn’t be given enough time by the fans and he’d be sacked..

Should have backed Carlos through his tough spell not chased him out of the door, the fans did a lot of damage to the club back then and didn’t see it.

Not the “Chansiri FC playing at Chansiri stadium” rumour is it? :)

Joke or what?

they dont seem to have noticed them taking Boro out actually moved us up unexpectedly another place to 4th
so they actually widened the gap in league placings

Be even funnier if Bruce has signed up, Bullen wins four on the trot before his start date then in comes Bruce with four losses to fuck it all up.
