I used to slate his quality on a number of occasions but never questioned his desire and commitment to the cause, I don’t even question his quality anymore as he just gets better and better. I think he’ll get an award at the end of the season if he carries on like this, that’s how much he’s changed my mind. What a bloke!

Totally agree......he seems to be consistently performing well above his ability, it’s pretty amazing really.

In league 1 he looked at best an average league 1 player
He steps up to the Championship and now he looks like an above average Championship play, can’t make any sense of it.

Always thought of him as a 100% battler/ trier with heart....but he’s proved me wrong because he’s actually got plenty of ability.

I haven’t got a video but he did it and he also gave them the 3-1 sign with his fingers towards the end for no reason whatsoever. The bloke is class.

My eyes always turn to Deano after we score, he ran to the side hugged everyone in 30 yards, punched the air, ran a bit more, jumped up and down, ran to the John Street side and held his arms aloft then realised we had kicked off again so shot back to his goal.

Love this kid and hope he stays beyond this season, he is a Blade legend in the making.

The Bambi thing, think that what fools most people including the opposition. Everyone thinks he's losing control when on the run but watch close and his control is fantastic. His decision making is the best of all our squad.
