They won’t go down but there is more chance me pulling Jennifer Lawrence in Maggie Mays than them getting into the playoffs.

I’ve asked the EFL the same question this morning. I’ve also asked what dolphin killer meant by “I’m owed favours”. Wankers

Private Eyes “Planet Football” would show more interest than the EFL.

The thought of a court case doesn’t worry Hislop as much as it does the spineless twats in charge of the championship.

Just checked Potato Heads win percentage:-
P/Head - 38.4
Warnock - 40.5
Tufty - 44.1
Lukhay - 40.37

Amazing just how many teams fans gave wanted him out after 1 or 2 seasons. Still the Pigs never learn.

You sure of that last one? I saw it mentioned as low as 33%. Unless draws count as wins??

Correct, it is based on career statistics. 33% is with the Pigs. Maybe he wasn't big enough to manage such a massive club.

No idea how he’s working it FFP-wise but I’ve heard he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve. They might not go down too well with the fans, though
Sounds interesting. He’s already fleecing them for as much as he can so makes you wonder what’s left. Only conceivable thing I can think is something to do with the stadium. Can’t be selling it, the land it sits on is a flood plain and they have nowhere else to go.

Sponsorship? The Chansari Stadium most likely, can’t see any proper companies wishing to be associated with that dump.

Don't think they own the stadium and definitely not the land. Always been subsidised by the Council.

Do you think their fans should know?

They will if it happens
Selling the naming rights to Hillsborough would be the easiest route for them to raise cash. The Wednesday fans I know would hate it thou. With Chansiri's money ( or family connections) he could rename the ground and put a multi million pound cash I section into the club and solve their cash problems overnight.it would also mean that they wouldn't have to sell Bannan and Reach this season. The issue for the new manager is that promotion would be demanded next season.

Would Blades object to BDTBL being renamed by a sponser who injected multi millions of pounds for CW to spend ?

Might be wrong but I think you can only put sponsorship in for a realistic figure/going rate to stop owners circumnavigating FFP.

For instance Man U might be able to get £150m for renaming Old Trafford as they’re a global brand. Wednesday wouldn’t be able to do the same even if Chansari had the funds (which he doesn’t)

Saying that playing by the rules everybody else does, doesn’t seem to stop him as evidenced by him making up fictitious companies such as D Taxi’s in order to pump in money/cheat.

How they’ve been allowed to get away with that (so far) is a joke.

The rumour going round is that Chansiri is going to sell Hillsborough stadium and lease it back at a peppercorn rent. Naming rights, as I understand it, would be watched very closely by the authorities to see if they accord with the realistic market value of naming rights for the stadium. That means with Wednesday's serious FFP problems, that wouldn't be a realistic out; the capital released from selling the naming rights would not ameliorate their problem . Selling and leasing back the stadium could release serious capital, although I've no real idea what the value of Hillsborough is? Of course this could have serious consequences in the future, and cripple them in the same way it did Leeds United, or, more seriously, Coventry City Leeds' rise as come alongside the owner buying back the stadium.
