Availiable in the JTW this has come from a source that is very close to the manager.
With the two men still who run the show still at war this is no surprise.

Ho hum.

Brooks, Maguire, Walker and gate/season ticket/TV/marketing all gone on wages again, huh?

Oh, hang on. We signed Egan, didn't we?

pommpey

Who knows could be right could be wrong..wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. well know soon enough

No money in a casual talking to a friend could mean no money, like a game changing player amount, but still a few million, which is probably what you expect anyway.

I'll believe it when I see it personally, and don't see what getting those with more credulity worked up and spreading a negative atmosphere does.

We're third in the league
5th Top scorers in the league
4th* Top defensive (*Joint 4th)
Billy is 5th top scorer
No long term injuries (except Kean Bryan)
No imminent sales
2 players for each position, except JOC ( Kean Bryan when fit)

Why do we need to spend money anyway?

This if true is a serious miss judgment on their behalf, both of them. We have an opportunity to make it to the promised land and the fail to back Wilder they’ll never be forgiven , this goes to the both of them.
My problem is I think both of them don’t give a flying fook.

I heard from some one who claims to be in the know that there ARE substantial funds for January.
But what does “substantial” actually mean? Guess it’s 5 to 6 million.

Apprently neither owner have any desire to gamble and push the boat out. So our best hope for real quality is a loanee, which are often difficult to get over the line because the better players tend to have loads of options.

So when the OP says “no money”, think it’s more of there being likely not enough money to give us a big lift.

Well, if Kev is gonna deliver his boast of Europe in 5 years ...........

The statement relates to the JTW, not a 4 1/2 year plan.

Because if Billy gets crocked (or dropped) we haven't a striker capable of scoring a goal.

Leon 19 goals last season
McG 5 in 21

Billy getting injured is Hypothetical. In which case, Washington could score goals

Next question

This is the point, 'substantial funds' and 'no money' could be the same thing depending on where you stand on the way United do stuff.

If we get a couple of ~£3m players and a decent loanee to me that's quite substantial, based on our approach to the transfer market, but to someone who judges us by looking at relegated Prem teams and Leeds/Forest/FLDC that's fuck all and McCabe and Princey are paupers and we're fucked rabble rabble rabble

He commented that he’d submitted his recommendations to the board.

There’s obviously not going to be a lot of cash and it will become apparent towards the middle of January if his recommendations have been agreed. To be fair we’ll probably have a good indication just after Christmas when he is interviewed.

Wasn't asking a question, I was giving you the answer!

In a division which is so volatile, everyone beating everyone... why would you want to risk losing money.

Too unpredictable, chuck some money in next jan if it's more stable

If I worried about all the rumours that appear on social media, I'd be completely grey by now.
Oh, hang on.......
Dont do social media only this blog I as much as everyone on here wish it was bollocks but its from a reliable source.
If some quality comes in the window drag this thread up and slate me but i would smiling too.

You really think that after an estimated 80 million Kev doesn’t give two shits?
Really?
