I am blessed to have witnessed the Blades in the top division for 15 seasons of my seasons watching them, mind that's 50+ years. I suppose one appearance in the last 24 is more relevant to a lot of current fans, depressing

SUBSTITUTION

Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

A change for Bournemouth too. David Brooks, who has had a quiet day, is replaced by Lys Mousset.

Just saying like

Exactly,
The player might want to go, but it's tough shit when he's signed a four year deal.
Transfers get refused all the time and until United learn to say no we'll never get anywhere

If they're not going to say no they could at least stop insulting fans with their bullshit

I don't go for the usual bollocks that he would have sulked and created problems in the squad.

What player trying to make a name for himself in the game would do that ?
He'd be committing professional suicide.
A well known player might have a strop knowing full well that another offer will come in at a later date, but an unknown, untested youngster, not a chance

Most likely he'd have stayed, got us promoted and then not wanted to leave unless it was to one of the big five for megamoney
Haven't you got anything better to do than spend all day Creating negative stuff about the team your supposed to support ?

Yeah was very quiet today, needs to add ''grab a game by the scruff of it's neck" to his game.

Again comparing him to £20m Maddison at Leicester who can really drag the team forward, there's definitely a gap, maybe a couple of million smaller than £8.5m, and maybe us and Norwich should have got more, but there's definitely a gap.

Yes I have, but it's worth 5 seconds of my time to wind up clappers like you. It's so easy.
I can even say things I don't really believe myself and most others don't believe that I believe it either, but I can chuck the hook in the water, sit back and wait for the bites. It's hilarious looking at the lengths people will go to to excuse our shitness in the transfer market

Must be crap then if he was quiet against a team that’s made one of best starts in Premier League history?

Just following up on one of my previous posts about him either starting on the bench or being subbed due to being a little ineffective lately.
I'm guessing the players who stayed on were being a little more effective or 'less quiet' if you like.

Not as hilarious as the lengths some will go to amuse themselves whilst at the same time making themselves look incredibly stupid.

Ahhh, another mug

I reckon you've sobered up just long enough to see the shite you've posted and are embarrassed by it. Hence the "l'm a wum" claim now.

If you're actually pleased by what you now claim to do, you're even sadder than I, and others, thought.

Yeah whatever, you sound like a fucking woman.
Just because I once said that my preferred time for going out was between 11 pm and 5 am on the odd occasion that I go out you bend and twist it to insinuate that I'm a drunk.

As for United, they have spent 37 of the last 42 years outside of the top flight for one reason only...……….THEIR ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PATHETIC TRANSFER POLICY
And you and others can fucking clap, criticise anybody that doesn't share your pathetic small time opinion and talk bolox all you like, because that's the one and only reason why

Fair point wasn’t actually aimed at you mate - saw a few pointing to today’s result as proof he’s no good! Bizarre.

To be fair D, the jury is still out for me on DB as to whether he will realise his full potential.
When he's good, he's very very good and I wish we still had him, but still grateful for the 'bird in the hand' at the moment.
Time will tell either way. Problem is, for us to be relieved (that we didn't drop too big a clanger) he will have to bomb, which for his sake I hope he doesn't.

Whatever. But now you've outed yourself as a wum, a wum who seems happy making themselves look stupid btw, you might have to get your giggles elsewhere.

Be difficult to work out which of your posts are wumming and which are based on ignorance and lack of what's happening at the club.

11pm -5 am? Oldest swinger in town then

Still young, playing in the PL against Liverpool? Are people actually saying hesno good though, or suggesting he's overhyped and overvalued by some?

He's still making the starting line up.

All of it's a wind up, it's sarcasm, having a laugh at our own expense, I don't really care if someone takes what I say LITERALLY.
I don't expect to be taken seriously, which is a problem because everybody seems to.

I take the piss by laughing at our own shortcomings with a smidgeon of truth about our small time boardroom and small time transfer policy thrown in for good measure. I say something sarcastic or controversial and this message board goes bananas. It's just hilarious how people allow themselves to get wound up by it..................especially when I'm right ;)

That bit's true about our transfer policy and you know it is
If we were a club funded by a multi-billionaire I'd agree, but we're not so you'll just have to live with it.

If our income matched our expenditure (even in Div 1) I might agree, but it didn't

If we could guarantee that spending £30m in the next transfer window would ensure promotion I'd agree, but we can't
(As fans we probably couldn't even agree amongst ourselves who the best target would be and some would still say we hadn't paid enough )

Dreams are great for fans, but usually, someone still has to put the money up front :(

I'm not just talking about now though, it's been pathetic over the last 40 years or so, ever since the wage structure for players changed.
In fact we were happily selling our best players before that, Jimmy Hagan would have been sold to WEDNESDAY FFS !!!!
The only reason it didn't happen was because he refused to go

And when did we ever have mega-bucks in the kitty?
Some owners/chairmen were probably wealthier than others but again, always better to demand that others put their hands in their pockets.
Why not spend a bit of time comparing the wealth of various football club owners and see if there's a link between owners wealth and money spent on transfer windows.
And look on the website showing % of club income compared to wages :)

Football teams sell players. Did Liverpool sell Suarez Alonzo Sterling just to piss off their fans. Players we have sold have been out of necessity in the main. And of all those we have sold how many have won things.Brooks laying in a team that's lost 4 on the bounce despite him playing

Fed up rather than wound up because of its fact free content.

You've never been right.
